Closed up tight last Friday, web site said open? What is up?

I’ve been trying to call here for 2 weeks to see if they sell gift cards, no one answers, voice mail is full, I had some time today, google says they’re open, wasted 20 minutes driving here to find they’re not actually open. Update your stuff. Will go somewhere else then.

This would be a 5 star. Great perch dinner. Awesome waitresses. But damn,no Covid update? When I call it says full mailbox for months.thats very disappointing

Really loved The Waltz Inn, in the past. In fact, I've probably sent them dozens of customers. It really says something to me though when we are 8 months into the whole Covid situation and the owners haven't updated the hours or days of operation on their Google listing. I mean, this is how any new customer is going to find you and how many past customers will find the exact location, too. Maybe I should have called ahead but either way, I wasted time, gas and excitement and ended up back at an old staple that I should have started out with to begin with.Please get organized. I'm quite sure that you're happy to reap the benefits of the 466 (now 7) reviews that you have; please respect the process and the people actually paying attention to them.

A hidden gem!!! Best walleye I've had since my grandpa made it!! Staff is so kind and atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend!

This is a rustic historic country Inn. The food is excellent and the wait staff very welcoming and friendly. I have been 4 times and loved it every time from homemade soups the fantastic desserts. I highly recommend the trip!

The first time we went to Waltz Inn, it was perfect. Then, each time after that, the Prime Rib was always cold. They said they could get us real hot or juice to help keep the prime rib hot because it just is hard for them to get it warm keep it warm. Today was Valentines Day and we thought we would try it again and not eat prime rib. I called this morning right before 11 o’clock and the lady who answered the phone (the owner) got with the girls over the reservation list 5 or 5:30 were both available. I chose 5 o’clock she asked for the name. I gave her my husbands name, spelled it for her, then she said OK we need a phone number. I gave them his cell phone number. I told her the first time we ate there, we ate in the front area in a booth. Is that area open. She said can’t guarantee a booth there they may be already spoken for but I will just put down anywhere in that front area and I told her that would be fine. We arrived a few min before 5 o’clock and they could not find a reservation. They had to go get this owner and then she did remember talking to me and they scrambled on what they would do with us She didn’t remember any conversation about the whole front area at all. They stuck us in the hardest chairs right in the middle of the busy kitchen door coming and going -it was like Joe was eating in the middle of the interstate. It was all I could do to eat my meal. Yes, it ruined by Valentine’s Day...ruined the date that I got all dressed up for. And, that owner had on the dirtiest clothes I have ever seen a person wear in a public area. it looked like she had pooped in her pants and she was wearing it. Her hair was so filthy! She looked like a homeless bum. Her hair literally was just stuck all of her hair head and down her shoulders and she was in and out of the kitchen and all around food and it made me sick and was just stuck nasty on her head and shoulders. We ate in the middle of the busiest aisle with the place all over the establishment with empty tables all evening long. When we left, my husband replied to me. You would think we would learn after a while because every time we leave here we are unhappy. I’m not going to miss it when we don’t go back. It amazes me that that place ever passed any health inspection.

So disappointed! We called to make reservations for Valentine’s Day and were told they were only taking them for parties of 6 or more. No availability. They offered the 2 of us a seat at the bar...1 seat. Poor management. And we were not the only ones there that was told that.

Went for lunch today with my sister Linda,it is our go to place on a weekly basis. We love the service and the quiet atmosphere. Had the bacon onion soup and it was amazing.
