Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

My husband and I enjoy going to the Imlay City location and eating inside. We are always greeted immediately by the man behind the counter. He is extremely nice! He also makes great blizzards! The food is hot and fresh, the onion rings crunchy.

I have been to to imlay City dairy Queen numerous times since the new owners took over. The ice cream is nothing like it used to be. It's not chilled enough it's runny. It's like they pump air into it. The staff is very rude. Can't even understand what they're saying. If you live in America, you should be able to speak English. Just my thoughts

This place is ok. Not the best DQ; one in Lapeer is definitely better. The food is okay, ice cream is pretty good, service is meh. The people are not rude or anything, they are mostly nice, but they get our orders wrong and are not very helpful. My husband and I both agree we will probably not be back to this location; we can go to Lapeer or a different restaurant/fast food place in Imlay.

We were the only people there and it took 5 minutes for anyone to come to the counter to wait on us. Then we waited for 20 min for 2 simple meals. When they finally brought out our food, they said they had no cocktail sauce for our shrimp meal. The only thing they would do was offer another kind of sauce. When I asked why they didn’t say that when I ordered, they just shrugged their shoulders. When I asked if I could get something else instead, all I got was a disinterested eye roll- no other offer to make it right. We gave up and took the food and left. Needless to say, we will not be stopping there again!

Drove over to DQ at 9:15pm, and they were already closed and the parking lot was empty, even though it says 10pm is their alleged closing time- I seen on their door. It says nine but Google says otherwise so somebody needs to fix that because while I was there trying to figure out where else to go three other vehicles tried to come through the drive-through hoping to order.

3 staff member that hardly speak English and very hard to understand. Tried ordering 2 different blizzards that are advertised on the website. Was told one wasn’t available anymore so I picked a different one. Get to the window to pick up and they hand me 2 that look the same. I question why and the managers response was the other one on the website isn’t right so they made 2 of the same but added more fudge to one to make up for all the missing cookie pieces. Will not be returning anytime soon!

It’s gonna sound really petty but my wife is particular about ice cream and her blizzard order is different, this is our local and closest dq and they never make it right small Reese’s pb cup blizzard extra extra pb cups and add chocolate sauce , every time they just use chocolate ice cream and some how she always know I just feel like if I’m gonna pay $7 for a small it should be the way I ordered it

Friendly staff and rapid order fill.

I could not eat my cheese burger. It was barely warm and tasted strange. The employee at the front counter was not friendly. This is not the same quality as other local Dairy Queen’s.

The staff was super short with us, messed up our simple ice cream order, and the “tenders” are the size of my pinkie. The BBQ sauce should not be bigger than the tenders. Ridiculous.

absolutely terrible service!! i showed the lady my phone obviously showing that i used my points for a free cone and she told me that i was wrong and proceeded to show me a receipt with the points redeemed on it! absolutely awful place would never give my business again!

This is the Dairy Queen I have ever ate at. The food was unbeatable. The hot dogs over cooked chilli disgusting. The poor girl working was so over whelmed apologizing saying no one was helping her while the owner was standing right next to her. That man needs to learn to treat his employees better and cook better food
