The food was good however there was hair in my food they remade it this time without the hair. However I did find a small hair on my bread stick which is fine I didn't want it anyway they gave me 5 dollars off for inconvenience.

Oliveras is by far my favorite restaurant in the Ionia area! Staff is fantastic, food is fabulous, drinks are absolutely amazing and the clientele is super fun too!

Good food just can’t find anything that isn’t soaked in salt which I can’t eat so I can’t eat there.
They used to be good but our last 3 orders (these 3 orders spanning across probably over a year, we don’t order that often) were made wrong and tasted bad. Pretty disappointing cause the food used to be good
Good food and staff. Lots of sandwiches to choose from but for dinner would like more selections of entrees.

Overall the food was very good. I still think the cheese breadsticks are hands down the best around. We were seated in the bar area side and the atmosphere was what you would expect for a “sports bar”. It’s clean and the service was top notch from the hostess to the waitstaff everyone was very friendly.

They accommodated our party of 19 with great service. Despite the large party, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was piping hot. They even allowed us to bring in a cake from outside and provided paper plates, forks, and a knife to cut the cake.

If you come to Ionia you have to stop by. The best eatery in town. The chicken 'Fredo pizza is phenomenal

It was a popular game night when we stopped in on a Saturday evening recently. The restaurant was in full sports bar mode, everyone enjoying the game on the multiple TV's. We were seated immediately but then waited about 10 minutes till a server came to take our drink order. About 5 minutes thereafter she returned empty handed and confessed with a smile she'd completely forgotten our order. We gave it to her again and ordered the spinach artichoke dip appetizer at the same time. This time our server was back quickly with drinks, and told us the app would be out in a few minutes. It was about another 10 minutes till the dip arrived, in the meantime my husband thoroughly enjoyed his maple old fashioned. Everything was hot and attractive looking on the appetizer platter. I noticed the starter plates given to us were plastic, which was rather disappointing to me given the price points of the menu. Silverware was also extremely cheap quality, thin, light, and showing it's age. The dip was good, not great, I would have appreciated more artichokes included. The flatbread it was served with was seasoned so heavily it overtook the flavor of the dip. The flatbread is also in such large soft pieces it can't really be used for dipping. After the slow start our service improved, the server checked on us more frequently when delivering our dinners and afterwards. We both ordered pasta and both were served quite hot on thankfully glass plates. I ordered the pasta olivera which comes with asparagus and salmon in a creamy sauce, the salmon was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender and flaky inside. The other pasta dish was some kind of creamy marinara with ground beef, that was fine, I didn't think anything special but for someone with a limited palette (children or grandparents?) would be a good option. House made bread sticks were served with the pasta, and they were delicious. At about 20$ per plate, Olivera's is asking high end prices for mid+ food in a sports bar environment. Definitely nothing I would travel for, but certainly a fun place to catch the game and enjoy some drinks with friends.
