I had the traditional pasty while my wife had the vegetarian. Both were wonderful. They had a crispy, flaky crust. The vegetarian was wonderful with cheese and a variety of vegetables. We were going to buy some to Freeze, but they were closed on our next trip through Iron River.
Was not a fan, all about shopping local, but the girl didn't really know any answers to the questions we asked. They didn't have a lot of taste, were kind of bland. We will stop to try one more time next time we are up.

Wonderful! Food, service and atmosphere. The cleanest restaurant we have ever been in. Our 1 year old had her first Pasty here and the bar was set very high.

We loved the breakfast pasty!!! Nice folks and good pasties! Very flaky and tasty
Who doesn't love a rutabaga pasty? Pleasant and prompt service. Great system in place when they can hand you a warm pasty withing 2 minutes of placing an order. Can't wait to get back!

I am so bummed that we stopped here. Worst pasties I’ve ever had. Hardly any meat, almost all vegetable. Didn’t even warm them all the way through to serve em. I’m shocked the reviews are so high. This can’t be where locals eat. ?

I'd give more starts if I could. Almost started drooling when I walked into the store because it smelled so good. Workers were so friendly. Pasties were unbelievably good and affordable. Definitely stopping again to stock up before I head back home.

Visited Saturday, Februray 3rd around 1pm. The the young woman behind the counter should not be working with the public. She had a bad attitude regarding everything. We first asked what was in the pizza pasty, as it was the only one with no ingredients listed. She replied "does it matter?" After a pause she added "its saturday." Yes, it was saturday, her point was... im not sure because the pizza pasty is listed as being available everyday. We then asked "is there pepperoni in it?" She replied "its just meat." Then she told us "i dont know, they dont tell us what is in them."If this establishment truely doesnt educate the staff on the ingredients, or at least have them available for the staff to look at in case someone has dietary concerns, then this is an owner issue. If the employee just cant be bothered to answer a couple very basic questions without an attitude, she should find a job not dealing with the public. After ordering our pasties we asked for a pickle. The girl fished around the pickle jar for at least a minute poking many pickles with the tongs as she said "No. No. No." She seemed to be looking for a specific pickle! In the end she choose one of the smallest and worst looking of the pickles for us.All that said, the pasties were delicious, huge, and baked to perfection. Got a fresh classic pasty and a frozen veggie pasty. The veggie pasty was to die for. The pickle was a bit soft but still very good.We would maybe go back and research our selections before we arrive.
