Great burgers. Friendly staff and local customers. I live 5 min away best place in ironriver for burgers. Very small bar though so it gets pretty packed pretty quick.

A diamond in the rough.. one of those spots you'd drive right by if you didn't know. Sandwiches are terrific.. open flame broiler is the cat's ( * ) ! Friendly crew, small interior, but a nice outdoor area. It's almost always got a crowd.. cars parked on the road some days.. dont be in a hurry,, and be patient with the server and getting your food order. Talk to your neighbor because there's NO internet and I love that! A room full of folks staring at their phones won't happen here! 👍❤

Stopped by after a long day on the trails in U.P. Michigan. Had a long exhausting day after a breakdown on the trail. This place was a sight for sore eyes as I hadn't seen civilization for quite some time. They were super friendly and gave me some advice on where to go next for some gas as we running low. Had a drink and bought a cool T-shirt as we were there. Will definitely be back again. I even had to make an emergency phone call because we had no cell service, the bartender was super nice and let me use her cellphone for a few minutes. Thanks a million!

Very nice had a bacon burger and two root beers. I think 11 dollars. Well worth it. Am was very nice bartender.

Best burgers around (try the Olive Burger or the Wrangler and the cheese curds) and a great, quiet patio area out back in warmer weather! Our favorite place to chill out and get some great grub after a day kayaking, hiking or working on reno projects! Always fast, friendly service — Thanks Wooden Nickel crew!
