Young's FireBrick Bar & Grill

I have been going to Young’s for about 4 years now. I have a membership at the pool and on the right night enjoy myself. With that said. The biggest problem Young’s has is inconsistent service/food quality.

Some visits everything thing is amazing. Food is good and servers nailed it. Other nights it is the complete opposite. Food will be nowhere near the same quality or you literally have to track people down and ask to be served after waiting forever just to get a drink order taken.

12/3/2024 at 7:45 pm after using the pool my girlfriend suggested we get dinner at the bar. I was actually opposed because I pointed out some of our past experiences and just wanted to have a relaxing evening. She talked me into heading to the bar. Upon walking in, there were three servers at the bar. Not a single one said a word to us. We sat down and the blonde female server gave us a dirty look and rolled her eyes. Still not a single word was said to us. I got up and told my girlfriend we’ll go spend our money elsewhere. We went to Innfield where the service is always amazing. And there is no question about the food.

For what you spend at Young’s I would expect more. I wouldn’t go out of your way to be disappointed. This is one of many weird hit or miss situations. The pool is awesome and super clean. And when the food and service are good it’s great. But too many times have I had horrible experiences to justify gambling $100 on food and drinks for two.

Fish fry was great! M43 beer and Moscow mule were great. Went for a swim and hot tub too. If you like perch.. it's great!

This place is the best. Ariel, the bar manager, and Aaron the bartender are the best! 100% would recommend!

Appetizer was good, but after waiting for a burger and Parm sandwich for 45 minutes. We witnessed 2 tables be seated, eat and leave before we got food. Waiter said the kitchen never got our order. Overall I'm disappointed by the experience.

Iron County 4H Artemis Archers attended the 2022/2023 Awards Banquet last Sunday at Youngs. Wonderful! Food was very good! Still talking about the round carrots, yes children are talking up the vegetable. Was busy but the staff handled it all very well and were all very friendly and helpful. Thank You, Barbara Luck

Every time I gone was great. Great food at a fair price. Excellent customer service. Reasonably priced drinks and food.

We had a tasty fish dinner. The perch dinner included 3 large pieces of fish, coleslaw, either homemade chips or fries, and yummy cornbread.

I expected more... from the bartender not being able to take more than one drink at a time, to never getting our food. Made reservations, 1.5 hours later the waitress got us a free drink and apologized. Came back and said it would be another 25min. People around us came and went after we were seated. Not that busy when we sat, busier as we watched everyone else get served... why. We left...

We never got our food. Waited over an hour for the waitress to tell us the kitchen loss our ticket There was no rush to make us happy. We ended up leaving without eating. Terrible experience however I don’t know if it was the kitchens fault or our waitress’ at that point it didn’t matter we walked out only paying for one round of drinks

Friday night fish fry was excellent! I had the walleye, and my wife had the parmesan cod. Nice, updated dining area and good service.

Best place around for phenomenal service and excellent food/fresh beverages that keep you coming back for more! Love the atmosphere and great place for a family/friends dining experiences.

Very friendly service. Beef Stroganoff special was good. Club sandwich and Mushroom Cheeseburger were all good. The Mac and cheese came out cool and had to be sent back. Overall, a fine 19th hole stop.

1 night food is awesome and service is on point. 2 weeks later the server comes back 1 hour after serving one round (4 adults, 2 children) and nachos (that she probably made) and states our order will take another 1.5 hours or we can "just leave".Walking out, a couple stated they just rec'd their food after waiting 2 hours.That was on a Saturday with a 7pm reservation. Why take a reservation that is impossible to fulfill?The kitchen had 6 or 7 people and looked like it was turned upside-down.
