the sign on the door says whole sales only. we stopped by last week. liked the bread though
Found this bakery while in Ironwood. Nice people at a good location downtown. The cinnamon twisty lattice thingy and the cranberry scones were amazing. Will stop again next time we're in town.
Thank you for the wonderful lunch boxes you created for the volunteer group working on the band shell. the sandwiches were amazing!!!! we would welcome an outlet in Houston. 😁
They have the most awesome pretzels! I just wish they offered them every day instead of one day a week.
Hands down the best bagels we’ve ever had! And great cream cheese and sandwiches too
Stopped into this bakery as travelers staying in the area. We admired the select group of loaves (for about $4) and chose the sour dough. We also got sandwiches (with chips and pickles for about $9) They were delicious. The breads were toothsome with chewy crusts. The sandwich ingredients were fresh and delicious. To top is all off, we picked up some cookies. The selection was not large but well made. While waiting, you can watch bakers work. We will return for some of the cinnamon bread and bagels that we didn't get this trip. I would recommend people checking this little spot out. There is plenty of free parking on the street.
We picked up some cinnamon rolls and scones for breakfast twice during our recent visit. Tasty! A good selection of items!
Overflowing gratitude for this small bakery in the Northwoods where oasis’s such as this are Rare to non-existent. We hope this treasure is appreciated and supported by the community and visitors so we can continue to have real bread on our future visits.
They know what they are doing and they have outstanding bread. We love to go here and wish it was open longer and more often.
This place has decent baked goods. They use to have pizza slices, but I went in to order and found they are no longer making them. How disappointing. Use to pick up slices and baked goods. This place will no longer be on my list of stops

We spotted this bakery from the street and decided to try it. This was exceptional! We purchased Bear Claws, Raspberry Danish and bread all of them were fresh and delicious. Good coffee, too. Prices were extremely reasonable. I have family in Ironwood and will make a point of supporting this place. First rate!
Great home made bread all the time and daily special selections. We especially like their sourdough and the country loaf that a very mild sourdough. Also nice for a quick pizza slice lunch and "can't pass them by" pastries.
This bakery makes some of the best breads that you will ever taste. On Thursday, it is pretzel day...none better found in Germany.
We were visiting from out of town and walked by on a weekend. Thought we'd stop in and check it out. The pastries were exceptional and left with a loaf of bread in hand. We would highly recommend it.
Yes, that's what my mom used to say when something was so delicious that regular words failed. I will always go to this outstanding bakery when I'm in the area. Breads, pretzels, sweet rolls....ALL are delish!
