Stopped in with a party of 4 on a non busy night. Waited an hour and 10 minutes on our food. Food arrived cold and a meatless dish had meat in the sauce which caused a vegetarian in our party to vomit on their front lawn. Management was slow to respond, but finally comp’ed some items. We left with a nearly $50 bill on food that was cold and tasteless. The wait staff was fantastic; however the management and the kitchen staff were not. Definitely do not recommend.

Waited over an hour to get cold food and they were not even busy. Menu does not disclose crucial ingredients in food. Manager and kitchen staff care about nothing, but waitress was exceptional.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Don & GG’s recently. Debbie, my server, was outstanding—she was very attentive and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met. As I often do, I chose the salmon. It was amazing like every time before. I highly recommend Don & GG’s and will definitely be returning!

This seems to be the last sit down restaurant in Ironwood. We tried them on a Saturday night while passing through. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait that ended up being an hour. Once seated at a table close to the bar I found the ceiling lights in the corner area of the bar were way too bright and it was hard to enjoy myself feeling like I was looking into car headlights. I ordered the special for the night “breaded pork chop” it came out way over cooked and dry like reheated turkey breast and the portion size of the green beans and diced potatoes was pathetic. I will say, I did enjoy their french onion soup so that is why I gave them 3 stars. Next time we’ll eat in Ashland or someplace else, we were not impressed and left disappointed. O, one other thing, the lady with glasses behind the bar was loud and obnoxious and I lost count of how many times she yelled out “Golden Cadillac”. Maybe don’t drink so much while you are working.

New ownership. Save yourself the trouble of stopping here. Long wait ,poor waitresses and when we did get the food it was bad.

“We were so busy” is not an excuse for terrible, cold food to be served. Owner and staff were not receptive to feedback despite asking what was wrong with the food. Day old Kwik Trip is better.

Super kind staff at the bar! Really nice to have vegan options too, the vegan fish fry was tasty!
