I recently visited the Uptown Cafe at 518 E McLeod Ave, in Ironwood, MI. What a nice place to get a breakfast at. I was seated and greeted promptly. I got my coffee going and soon after my order was taken. Looks like the staff knew all the locals which made for a good atmosphere. I got my scrambled eggs and bacon order and it was delicious. This is a good place to grab a meal or sit back and relax. A good choice.

Dirty silverware and a 30-minute wait for pancakes and eggs. The place wasn't even busy. The waitress didn't know what over medium eggs were. I'm not sure who gave this place 5 stars, but maybe they hadn't ever been to another restaurant to know how they work.

A perfect place for a fast friendly breakfast. Great seeing all the local folks coming in to banter and enjoy the start of their day. The food was prepared quickly and to order. (Barb?) made us out of towners from Delaware feel right at home. I admire her enthusiasm as she hustled about her job. A very busy place for a good reason.

Perfect place for for basic breakfast food, service and food were excellent. They're open early so we got some good food in us on the way up north and it hit the spot.

Pretty long wait of 24 minutes to get my food and then it was messed up when I got it. I was absolutely specific about popping my yoke and getting them thoroughly done on my legs. When I got them there was liquid in the yokes. Not the waitresses fault most likely but I hate when I was super specific and they still mess it up. They don't understand what over well and over hard means. First time I've been to this restaurant nice atmosphere and decent prices but I had to wait more than 10 minutes to get the eggs redone and sent back to me. Maybe a new cook or maybe they're short-handed but the ratings reflect my experience

We were driving thru Ironwood and began a search for a late breakfast place… There was an old school restaurant that happened to be closed on the day we were driving through so we tried another local eatery… they did not serve breakfast and it was incredibly dirty inside but luckily the lady working there suggested Uptown Cafe… it was incredibly good food and service and exceeded my expectations by a mile… everything was cooked perfectly and had lots of taste. The coffee isn’t fancy but it’s better than Folgers. Very clean inside, very kind wait staff and delicious food… would definitely eat here again! Also many options for kids!
