Stopped for some BBQ with a friend. Ordered a 3 meat platter. All of the meat from the smoked sausage to the brisket, it all was fantastic! Even the sides were excellent. Definitely stopping back here next time I'm in town!

The woman who served us was lovely and helpful. The food was incredible. We had fun enjoying gorgeous fall weather playing bags and sipping specialty soda. We ordered the loaded Mac and loaded fries. 10/10 so good!

My husband and I ate here when we were in the UP for our anniversary. We both like barbecue so we decided to fry Up-N-Smoke. It was a windy and cool fall night. We didn’t expect that it was a food truck, but it was in a permanent space. There were plenty of picnic tables. There were two sets of cornhole boards for anyone that wanted to play.
Since we’d never tried it, we ordered a three meat platter, which came with three 8oz sides and Texas toast. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and shredded chicken. For the sides, we ordered cornbread, fried green tomatoes, and fries. When we got the food it looked good and smelled great! The meat was cold! It had good smoky flavor, but it was cold.
My husband said the chicken was juicy, the pork wasn’t dry and had a subtle smoky flavor, and the brisket was dry but also had good flavor. The brisket had a nice bark around the edges and had a slight cracked pepper flavor. The fried green tomatoes were good. The breading was crunchy and had good flavor. The fries were average. We didn’t care for the cornbread; it was dry and smoky-flavored.
The gentleman that waited on us was very nice and attentive. The staff seemed on the ball. If they had better warmers for the food I would have given them a better rating.
We enjoyed our food and banter with the staff as we waited. But on our two meat platter order we only had one meat (which we discovered only upon returning to our Airbnb)

Super friendly & fun staff! AMAZING FOOD. We had a group of 8. 5 of us had brisket , 1 catfish, 1 pulled pork, & 1 burnt brisket ends. I asked one of the staff which sides he likes best. He said collard greens & corn bread but then mentioned 3 or 4 others that he also loves. I went w/his recommendation & got collard greens & corn bread. Another staff member mentioned dipping bread in "the juice" which I thought would be brisket juice. No, dip your bread in the juice of the collard greens! That's what she meant & it was delicious! Fun atmosphere with great music. If you're in the area you SHOULD eat there. 👍👍👍👍👍

I love everything about this spot! The owners and staff are my favorite and the food is DELICIOUS and they always have good music playing and the areas to sit are fun. They use the best and freshest ingredients, quality food and quality people LOVE 💚🤤 you have to try the watermelon lemonade only offered in the summer it is the ABSOLUTE BEST drink I’ve ever tasted!
