The bees were not very good.
Me and my partner visited Jasper Ridge Brewery while in town and am unsure if we would recommend this place to a friend. One night we sat at the bar and the bartender (Emily?) may potentially be one of the worst bartenders we have had in recent memory. She constantly interrupted our conversations to tell stories about her self (self-centered much) while talking extremely loud. So after a drinks my partner nudged me to get going.
The following night we ate in the back room/dining room. We ordered the cheese curds for an app which was delicious! We both order entree's which were also delicious! However, one of us had much more fries than the other so we split the fries. Our server was nice but she appeared to care more about socializing as she walked by our table multiple times with coworkers talking instead of replacing our drinks. One table actually had multiple people at multiple times get refills from a server before we had one refill.
This place has potential to be a great place to dine and grab a drink but the service/atmosphere needs work. It's unbearable to sit at the bar (or bar room) as the bartender will talk/yell the entire visit. The servers are nice during interactions but could be better at making sure their tables get what they need/want quickly.
Great beer and food and nice, friendly service!
Great food and the best Blueberry beer in the U.P.
Watched Michigan-Ohio State Football game there 11/30/24 Had a few beers people where friendly good service.
Blueberry wheat beer was crisp and flavorful. We had an inexperienced waitress. Received our appetizer after our meal. Food was good, not spectacular.

Waitress came around we hadn't decided what to order, by the time she came back I had finished a pint of beer. Our order of a mushroom -n- swiss and turkey club sandwich took over 35 minutes or two more pints. Im glad it wasn't very busy! The food was really good though and many home brewed beer to choose from.

Well it reminded me of a military club bar vs a brewery. Food was great. Just closed too early for a nightcap.

I've been doing a brewery tour in the U.P. and stopped here to try their beers ?. They have some beers that I thought were very good. We also had a couple of appetizers to munch on as well.

Atmosphere and server was pleasant. Place seemed clean. Fries and ranch were great. Chicken tenders were the extra processed flank planks and not good at all. They did not have the coleslaw that came with the meal, so you just didn’t get it….

Our bartender/waitress, Emily, was very nice. I had the half rack rib special, which was very good. I also had the chance to watch Emily fill, seal, and label some fresh cans of beer. Well worth the stop!
