Milano Smokehouse Meats

We recently had my husbands deer processed at Milanos and I couldn't be more impressed with this shop. Tim and his team are amazing at what they do. Snack sticks and breakfast sausage are perfectly smoked and seasoned. If you're going somewhere else, you're doing it wrong. Thanks guys!

Absolutely amazing pulled pork sandwich. The sauce is smoky, and not too sweet, with great depth of flavor. The owner is super friendly, and the service is fast.

This place rules. Seriously. Best jerky and meats around and the prices are amazing. Always great attitudes every time I've been in, which is a couple times a week as of lately. I'm glad they're here. I'm disabled and their jerky is literally helping in my recovery.

Our favorite item at Milano Smokehouse is the Mushroom and Swiss Brats! I also enjoy the peach! Perfect for grilling and we ate them for breakfast at camp out of cast iron! The Milano family is involved in the community making a difference for all of us. I highly recommend Milano Smokehouse.

Stopped by for the soft opening of their new soup and sandwich offerings. This smoked BBQ brisket grilled cheese is UNBELIEVABLE. The brisket is so moist and tender with an amazing sauce and the bread is pressed so perfectly. When I took the first bite, I literally gasped in surprise. Also got the broccoli cheddar soup and it was SO GOOD with fresh ingredients. This will be my new go-to for lunch AT LEAST once a week! I love a great sandwich shop and it's so awesome to finally have a killer option right here in Ishpeming.

I ve heard a lot of good things about Milanos. Took my venison there and the sausage crumbled like shredded meat when I cut it and 1/4 inch of meat stuck to the casing. All he said was try cutting it with the casing on. I don’t think there was any pork added as they were supposed to. Maybe just a bad batch. It happens. But he didn’t try to make it right. Never going back.

I took my deer in to be made into snack sticks and sausage. The snack sticks tasted raw and the sausage was a total disaster. The sausage crumbled when you cut it and a 1/4 inch of meat stuck to the casing. I’m guessing not enough fat or moisture in the meat and maybe smoked at too high of a temp.

Top shelf, quality products. One more reason to travel to the UP!
