Rare Earth Goods and Cafe

I have been to this place now about 3 times. Every time it has been a wonderful experience, the food is incredible, and the owner/chef is beyond talented. For a young man just starting out in life, he has built an amazing business and atmosphere that is hard to come buy. Everything from scratch, made fresh daily. This little restraunt is in itself a rare gem.

I’m vegetarian and my husband is not. We have struggled with places to go out to eat locally. Not anymore! We visited on Sunday for lunch and were both able to have lasagna and salad. (He had meat and I had vegan) We both highly recommend it! The carrot ginger soup was delicious as well and the carrot cake…Wow! We will be back!!

Small cafe where everything is artful, including the food! The love and care for the place fills the corners and the cups - we will be swinging by everytime we drive through.

Turkey sandwich: small amount of turkey scraps, bread was soggy, I’d asked for the mustard on the side. The turkey also had stringy casing scrap mixed in… impossible to chew. Service was terrible. Cook went out and talked to other customers, checking on them. Ignored us, waitress never came back after delivering the sandwiches. Very disappointed.

Dylan and his crew are fantastic! This is my go-to for lunch (the spinach artichoke is my fav!) but their breakfasts are the all star! And the soups! You really cannot go wrong with anything you order. They cater too and have been great to work with. They do a great job of sourcing food locally and growing it themselves. Things are made by scratch and so delicious. Support local, support Dylan, support our community, eat at the Rare Earth Goods Cafe!

Our small town of Ishpeming is fortunate to have this restaurant. The setting is cozy and quaint. The food was all fresh and homemade. My family has a lot of food allergies and preferences. We are impressed at how well the owner manages them and provides many options. It's a true gem!

Food is excellent at Rare Earth's Cafe

Excellent food! My favorite breakfast/brunch I’ve experienced! The #1 breakfast on menu is my favorite. Travelled to many places and to have a place that offers healthy delicious food is awesome! Great to have this place nestled in downtown Ishpeming. Small town atmosphere with amazing service and amazing food. So appreciated
