Yes, I do recommend Big Top but…last night’s visit wasn’t great. I asked for a small lemon cone, received it. My husband asked for a small creme de minthe, took quite awhile to get it and when he did it had half as much ice cream as mine did. An older lady (owner?) saw it and should have told the young boy who made it to do it again. We paid $8.69 for 2 small cones, and put $1.31 in the tip cup. They need to be more consistent in the size of cones they make.
I walked up to the window. The lady there was super nice but when I asked for the smallest amount of monkey milk I could have she looked at me like I knew what it was. She said "What?" I really wanted monkey milk but I was scared she was gonna give me something with a flavor that I didn't like. I quickly said I wanted monkey business which is a real flavor and the man had it ready for me before I was done paying! I got the ice cream and it was made with banana...
Service was timely and friendly. Ice cream options are pretty wide and the malts are excellent as well - can even get it extra malty! Prices seemed pretty fair compared to other places I've been for hand dipped ice cream and the shade was well appreciated after a hot day at Reed Park.
