A few weeks ago, I left Midland, MI, on my way to Hillsdale, MI for an adoption ceremony and my temperature gauge read HOT! I nursed my car to the next exit and landed in Ithaca. I stopped to ask people where I should go for service. Hub’s was suggested. I pulled in and Dylan/Dillon and his beautiful wife recommended going to Hearthstone Oven to grab some lunch, while they fixed my car. I always cook on holidays but wanted a more relaxing Christmas, I manage an AFC home and my state inspector recommended Hearthstone, I figured if the state inspector recommended it, it must be a great place. We had regular and vegetarian lasagna, rolls, strawberry rhubarb pie, and pecan pie for Christmas every single one was absolutely the best we have tasted . Hearthstone Oven is a fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and prompt service. They offer a great variety of sandwiches, meals, and desserts. The bakery case is filled with an assortment of breads, cookies, pies, and cinnamon rolls, all made in-house. Customers can also take home frozen meals to bake. Prices are reasonable, and parking is available next door and on the street.
