A few weeks ago, I left Midland, MI, on my way to Hillsdale, MI for an adoption ceremony and my temperature gauge read HOT! I nursed my car to the next exit and landed in Ithaca. I stopped to ask people where I should go for service. Hub’s was suggested. I pulled in and Dylan/Dillon and his beautiful wife recommended going to Hearthstone Oven to grab some lunch, while they fixed my car. This restaurant was perfect, and even offered WiFi for this traveler. I enjoyed a delicious special of turkey/potato/stuffing for lunch. I was able to watch family friends adopt 2 precious little girls (Zoom)! The meal was so Yummy, the bathrooms were very clean and I was treated like family! Mary and the other servers were fabulous, kind, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Thank you God, Hearthstone Oven, Mary, and a special thank you to the kind couple that overheard my troubles! Not only did they pay for my lunch, they also asked Mary to give me a $50 bill to help with my car repairs! Ithaca certainly made me feel welcome, cared for, and safe! If I ever break down again, I hope I am near Ithaca!

I always cook on holidays but wanted a more relaxing Christmas, I manage an AFC home and my state inspector recommended Hearthstone, I figured if the state inspector recommended it, it must be a great place. We had regular and vegetarian lasagna, rolls, strawberry rhubarb pie, and pecan pie for Christmas every single one was absolutely the best we have tasted . The staff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating even on Christmas Eve as busy as they were. We will definitely be regulars !

The atmosphere here feels like a home meets a bakery and there just happens to be a restaurant inside. I ordered the Maple Bacon Burger ($14). A 1/3# patty, apple maple bacon jam, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and crispy onions, on a toasted butterhorn roll. This was an excellent burger, the beef was high quality and delicious. The bacon jam gave it a slighty sweet, yet savory taste. Everything merged together perfectly to create a burger I definitely want to eat again. I got applesauce with it that was very good. I got some Cinnamon Rolls to take home and they were fantastic. I also got a Raspberry Cream Cheese Roll. Basically raspberry instead of the cinnamon mixture and it works. Definitely a home run. The service was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, this is worth the 90 minute drive. Both Cinnamon Rolls and Burgers deserve their spots on the best of lists.

Love eating here. They have a great variety of sandwiches, meals and desserts. Their cookies and raspberry rolls are awesome. They also have frozen meals you can take home you just need to bake.
Is it a small town caffe pretending to be a big city approximation of a small town caffe? The food is good and the people are nice but it feels like a modern recreation of an old business.
