A few weeks ago, I left Midland, MI, on my way to Hillsdale, MI for an adoption ceremony and my temperature gauge read HOT! I nursed my car to the next exit and landed in Ithaca. I stopped to ask people where I should go for service. Hub’s was suggested. I always cook on holidays but wanted a more relaxing Christmas, I manage an AFC home and my state inspector recommended Hearthstone, I figured if the state inspector recommended it, it must be a great place. The atmosphere here feels like a home meets a bakery and there just happens to be a restaurant inside.\n\nI ordered the Maple Bacon Burger ($14). A 1/3# patty, apple maple bacon jam, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and crispy onions, on a toasted butterhorn roll. This was an excellent burger, the beef was high quality and delicious.
