Spangler's has very friendly staff and great home-made food. The breakfast menu is available anytime. Throughout the week they have daily specials for dinner. Their cabbage rolls are served every Monday and go fast, so come early.
Went for brunch, the food was great, the waitress were kind, and didn't hover. Loved the restaurant, it was very clean inside.

Food was so-so; over priced for what it was. My companion had a chicken wrap and liked it and I had a Greek salad and added one star because it was loaded with feta and had anchovies, which I love and not every place has them.
But the place is dreary, floor was sticky and by the time our food arrived we saw our table was dirty with crumbs from a previous patron. Ick. I made sure to keep my fork off the table.
We were just passing through. If intended to ever return I would have mentioned these concerns to the manager. But we were on a schedule. When we arrived there was one other customer and she had a to go order. NO other patrons. Staff was standing around chatting; surely someone had time to clean tables. We also wondered why the 2 items came to about $32. Didn't realize soda was $2.99 a glass. Would've had water.

I went for breakfast. The food was alright. The service was great. The diner is nicely decorated. Beautiful view of the corn fields across the road, but my only critique (nitpick really) was that I had to battle three flies (I counted them) for my food. 😅

Thursday night special is the best scalloped potatoes and ham I've had since my grandma's cooking. There is no higher compliment!

Really nice family restaurant. Service was very friendly and efficient. Diverse menu with lots of breakfast offerings. Food was very good and very reasonably priced.

Poor salad, fries were dry and over cooked.

Nondescript older family restaurant which would be ok if the food was any good. Service was ok, many servers, not many customers. My husband had tenderloins (med. well) that were tough and he could not eat them. Perch was off tasting and greasy. The "famed" homemade macaroni and cheese was dry, layered cheese only on top. Desserts from Costco. Will not return or recommend.
