We stopped in Kalkaska on our way home and stopped at the Up North Grill for a late lunch. There were only a few customers at the bar, we sat at a table nearby. Our waitress was awesome and was very attentive to our needs. We ordered a couple appetizers. The "Mile High" nachos were any but that. They were maybe 2 chips high. For cheese they used the liquid type. Not our favorite. Our other tizer was the wonton. They were good. Will we return? Not until we try all the...
Stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of seats available and service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed a burger and my son had the lasagna. Both were great. Building is dated and actually looked closed when we pulled in, but shouldn't be a deterrent to stopping here for a bite to eat. I would eat here again.
Our club and roast beef sandwiches were both absolutely scrumptious and arrived very quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great experience and we are looking forward to returning!
