Delicious French style pattiserie! Decadent and luscious pastries. I love it. All locations I have visited are deliciously consistent 😛💕

They are worth their prices. Notably the best espresso I have ever had too… very smooth, non-bitter. Be sure to pick out an extra something to take home for later.

This place was very good until they’ve discontinued all the good pastry items. For example, the Millie fuellie (custard pastry). This was a best seller and always almost sold out. They should bring this back asap since everyone loved it.
I've been curious about this place for a while. I decided to pop in to check it out. It's extremely inviting and clean. I tried the tomato and basil mozzarella bowl, and dirty chai. Let me say that bowl knocked it out of the park! I could happily eat 20 of them. I'll definitely be coming back with friends, also the seating is quite nice too. I also didn't expect to love the natural window light as much as I do.

The bakery itself is beautiful and walking in you’re greeted with a gorgeous display of baked goods that lull you into thinking they’re going to be exceptional. That was not the case at all, they look pretty but that’s it. I had the chocolate and pistachio croissant and it was tasteless and underbaked, with raw dough greeting you at the first bite. The baguettes which they use for the sandwiches are plain, the sandwiches themselves are toasted for you but it feels almost as if they use the same oven as Subway does. I’d recommend a Subway sandwich though over what we got here, it’s cheaper and the bread is somehow better. Overall this place is extremely overpriced, the baked goods are pathetically bad, and the only redeeming quality of this location is the friendly staff and how well the place looks. Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews about this bakery like we were, they don’t know what a French bakery is supposed to taste like.

I’ll start by saying the staff was very nice, and we got our items quickly. Everything looked SO NICE, and we were excited. However the sandwiches and pastries were a huge let down. The bread on the sandwiches was soft with no flavor and no crust to speak of. The insides had minimal flavor. My sandwich supposedly had homemade pesto, which was not detectable. We also joked later that subway bread was better. My brother’s croissant was inedible. It was completely raw and goopy on the inside with crappy chocolate. My apricot croissant looked beautiful and wasn’t raw, but it was very stale and dry. It tasted like it was left out for a day. We were really excited to become regulars at a little French bakery, and are very disappointed.

(This version is corrected by ChatGOT) Top Notch Torts & Sweets truly delivers an exceptional experience. Their gourmet pastries and stuffed croissants, filled with nuts and fruits, are expertly crafted with well-balanced flavors and an authentic European French taste. The desserts are light and refined, leaving no oily residue after eating—whether it’s cakes, sweets, or stuffed sweet breads. The sweets and torts are not overly sugary and are made to literal perfection. Their loaves of bread are also excellent in both texture and flavor. Pricing is very reasonable, especially when compared to similar establishments that charge nearly double for significantly lower quality. Torts here average between $8–$9, whereas comparable places charge around $18 (for example, Farhat Sweets & Cakes on Haggerty Rd., West Bloomfield). Prices have been checked and verified. I am not affiliated with this business—just a genuinely impressed customer.
