I drive by every night on the way home and decided to finally stop. I wasn't disappointed. Everything was beautiful AND delicious! The staff was wonderful and friendly too! Cant wait to try it again!
I loved the Detroit location but it's almost an hour drive away. They expanded to open on Orchard Lake Road near West Bloomfield/Keego. This location has all the same bakery goods, cafe setting, and throws in free parking. It's like having an authentic French bakery in my backyard. I am going to have to pace myself, everything is delicious but the croissants and coffee are excellent.
I'm so glad this is here, this area badly needed a good coffee shop, and its location on the bike trail makes it ideal. While the renovation is lovely, and it's always clean, there's one big problem: the acoustics are terrible which makes dining in uncomfortable. If there are even 6 people inside, I'm surprised when I take off my headphones just how loud it is. Seating is just a large cafeteria-like open space, not intimate or cozy, and sound bounces everywhere....
