The Harbor Steakhouse

Stopped in for dinner this evening and man what a place!… The server recommended the fish and chips and she was right it was fantastic!…. The owner even came by our table and chatted with us for about 15 minutes his name is Michael and if you are looking for a wonderful place to eat with a great staff, excellent food and service this is the go to place!…. I’m telling you go support this business and have a meal there you will not be disappointed at all!

Nick our server was so enjoyable and informed! He made our eating experience superb! He gave great recommendations and explained all the unique nuances of the dishes. We will be back.

We had the best meal & service with our waiter Nick. He recommended the crab cake appetizer and it was delicious. We had the lamb chops and portabella stuffed ravioli which were both fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing! We had the NY Steak and Burger, cook perfectly! Robert was also a delight, very nice and attentive.! Everything came out wonderfully and overall a very welcoming and great experience! Definitely coming back!(:

The presentation and taste of the dinners we ordered were excellent. I hesitate to write this as we don’t want the secret to get out. Server Robert was a pro!!!

Tried this for the first time recently and had the best time! The service, food, environment was incredible. Robert our server was so attentive and kind, providing us with great drink and food recommendations. We will definitely be back soon :)

Robert the server was very friendly and it was nice to see the owner interacting and helping with service. Unfortunately the bread / butter was my favorite part of the meal. Will try again and try something else on the menu.

Beyond disappointing. Horrible experience for my Birthday dinner. We waited 45 mins just to get water and order drinks. Another 15 to finish our drinks and decide we’re going somewhere else. We waited way too long just to be acknowledged by the waitstaff. When we finally managed to order drinks, we finished them, paid, and left—without even bothering to stay for dinner. During this hour, the owner Michael Stapleton sat at another table drinking wine, completely indifferent to his overwhelmed and understaffed restaurant. He was totally ok with our table of six waiting for an hour for any acknowledgement and ok watching us get up and leave. Thankfully, we ended up at Gino’s down the street, where the service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and the owner truly made us feel welcome. Gino’s saved my birthday dinner. We won’t be returning to Harbor Streak House, Keego Harbor MI ever and I’ll make sure everyone knows about your lack of interest in your customers and the success of your restaurant. Very disappointing experience.

Prices have doubled quality doesn’t match the cost. All of our favorite dishes are gone. Wasn’t impressed with the food. Very Pretentious atmosphere. Very sad to hear they never hired the old staff.

It looks like you literally got rid of everything I eat there and have been going for years. 🙁 The ribs, the bourbon chicken sandwich, the Wild caught maple bourbon salmon. Prices used to be super reasonable and this looks like fine dining pricing! Guess I’ll never be back! 😭

Great visit!

My lobster was completely raw. Drink was wayyyyy too strong, had to return. They should be ashamed to be serving raw seafood, I do not need to be getting food poisoning.
