My absolute favorite restaurant. The curry noodles and potato fritters are to die for. I drive 30 minutes to get here and it's worth it every time! Don't listen to weirdos saying the food doesn't have flavor, it's some of the most flavorful, unique food you'll ever have. It takes a long time because there's ONE PERSON, the absolutely amazing chef, working in the kitchen by herself, every day , making everything from scratch. They post the wait times on the door, stop being ungrateful and go to McDonald's if you want quick food. Your palate obviously sucks anyway so you don't deserve delicious food!

Small hole in the wall Indonesian restaurant and bar. Delicious food, good service. We got the meal for two which comes with fruit/ vegetable salad, noodle soup (we had it with beef), appetizer plate (egg rolls, small skewered chicken strips, fritters with dipping sauces) and 3 different meats with broccoli and rice for the entree. The meal is served family style, everything is fresh and you can choose from no spice or how spicy you would like it. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Like many other culinary establishments I've tried in the past, "Indo" is a restaurant I happened to discover while driving to a job site. They were not open for lunch, but I decided to tell my wife I was gonna order a bunch of food for us to bring to her parents for dinner that night. The reason for this is because my in-laws grew up in Indonesia, so they are more than familiar with the cuisine. I called ahead of time to place a large order and had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. I ordered a good variety of dishes, most of which are staples. She was so sweet and accommodating to our dietary restrictions, especially after knowing that my MIL came from Java like her. I forgot the name of the lady behind the bar who cashed me out, but she was super sweet and entertaining while I was waiting for my food to finish cooking. It's worth mentioning that everything here is made from scratch, and therefore you should place your order well over a half hour in advance. The food is not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for as far as quality AND quantity are concerned. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious and easily goes toe-to-toe with whatever I eat at my in-laws (who were also quite satisfied by the meal). The owner really hooked us up with extra sauce and shrimp chips. The inside of the restaurant (while dated) does have adequate seating for larger groups and includes a full bar if you're in the mood for a drink. You're not gonna find authentic Indonesian food like this anywhere else in the metro Detroit area.
