Prices tend to be higher for a burger and a beer, but they aren't competing with McDonald's. Rubin needs more saurkrout and 1000 islands dressing!

Sorry we came on Audra's bad day, what a terrible experience! We had to ask to see a menu, wait to place our order, were never offered napkins (I finally went to the station and grabbed my own) or silverware and wait it until it was convenient for her to stop her conversation with the only patron she seemed to like to pay the bill. The Reuban had hard pieces of corned beef in it and was served without thousand island dressing, which we had to ask for. We were never asked how is your food or given any glimmer that we were in a restaurant and not a carry out place. The high point was the smiling young man who brought the sandwiches. At one point as Audra was walking away from a group of older men at the bar she scowled and threw her hands to the side like she was disgusted to have been there and wait on them. Was not worth the money for the high-priced mediocre sandwich to be treated like they don't need the business, and it was an inconvenience to have interrupted Audra's attention from her cell phone and her favorite customer.

My friend had a chicken Caesar salad, I had Michigan Cherry Salad. Generous portions. Fresh ingredients. Server was good, except she didn't tell us her name, so can't give her a shout-out.

I enjoy they have a good bar with comfortable seats, they have sports on 😁 and love the basketball 🏀 hoop in the back!

Fast service. Was able to handle a large to go order with many changes to ordered items and handled all very well and correctly

Haven't been there to get fish on Fridays, but a order on Good Friday to go. Not anywhere as good as it use to be. If I had the time, would have taken it back. The fish was so over cooked, the fish was dried out. The breading was so hard, you couldn't chew it. Pulled the breading off, but the fish was chewy too. There was only a few fries, the only good part was the coleslaw. Very disappointed in the food.

In fairness they were very crowded during March Madness. We were seated among tables with a lot of kids running and screaming unsupervised so that was not ideal. The food was not great tonight. Most meals were cold when we received them including grilled salmon so that was disappointing, the broccoli with the salmon was very cold. The salmon did not seem as fresh as in the past. The fish and chips was okay but not great. The menu needs a refresh and what is on the menu needs to be served while still hot.

First time ever dining - and I commented to everyone in our party that I knew the restaurant had been there for 30 years (turns out, 32 years). Service was terrific - by Laura. The food was delicious and served promptly. Overall, an incredibly great dining experience and good value, too!

Hands down worst cookie Sunday I have ever had here so disappointed!!

The food tastes like cardboard, the inside atmosphere is outdated. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here.

Love this place! I’ve been coming here for years!! Since childhood! Now I enjoy taking my kids here! The food is great and the people are friendly. The kids call it “the bear place” because of the wood bear at the front of the restaurant. Love this place!

I ordered chicken parm. The chicken was overcooked, and the pasta sauce wasn't even sauce. It was just tomato paste. Tasted very acidy.

My girl ordered fish and it was bland.

Waitress never offered refills

Will not be back
