I called to see if my father-in-law was there slamming tallboys instead of hunting and they were absolutely accommodating. Also, HE WAS THERE JUST SLAMMING TALLBOYS! 5 Stars, will drink and eat here soon!

We stopped here for dinner after a long long day of hiking. The atmosphere was very fun and welcoming. Michelle was a very friendly and happy to be serving us even though it was 10pm when we rolled in!

First time visiting. Michelle was bar tending, she was super friendly, helpful with the menu and made us feel so welcome after hiking all day long and coming in at 9:50pm for dinner! Thanks for the great food and great time!!

Michelle quickly came over to take our drink order quickly. She gave us a fewinutes to choose what we wanted and our food was on our table within ten minutes...hot and delicious!

I will definitely go back next time I am in the area...was a great lunch.

Walked in when it was busy with bar customers on a Friday night, waited for about 20 minutes without a greeting, attempted to ask an employee if we could order and she rushed away. We felt extremely unwelcome after driving 30+ minutes out of the way. The bar was busy and we tried to stay out of the way- all we needed was a ‘hi, we’ll be with you shortly’ but got nothing. My husband was very excited to be there and buy merch and have fish fry as his last name is Hoppe and I feel awful that we were tested so poorly.

This is your typical Northwood tavern. It's a snowmobilers stopping point, as well as a gathering place for local camps and hunters. Menu is limited to typical bar food, but hey...it's in a tiny town in God's country. There's also a small sporting goods store directly next door that specializes in guns and ammo. Between the two, you can get live bait, ice, propane, a beer, a cheeseburger and fries...what more do you need?!

More like a 4.5.
Quick lunch stop in route to Wisconsin. Interesting place with lots of different things to look at. The $10 frickin chicken was good and unique (I got it without a bun and my husband got it with). Waitress (who also happened to be the bartender and chef) was nice.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. I had the chicken sandwich with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and more. It was great! First time there. I'll be back.
