Beef burrito was terrible very watered down tasting, western omelette was blah and tiny . Long wait also only 2 other customers in the restraunt. Won’t be back unfortunately!

My husband and I love this place! Their crispy chicken sandwich with fries is amazing. They freshly grind and brew Higher Grounds coffee, so even the decaf is delicious. It's a great local restaurant with friendly staff and I would highly recommend checking them out!

The taco is called "delicious taco" its definitely a different take on a texmex taco. Don't knock it till you try it! And fries and pancakes and bacon were all cooked perfectly and would highly reccomend for some home town eating :)

The menu selection was more than I had anticipated. Amazing selection. Great food. Great service. You MUST order a side of Ranch with your fries! This place wins "best ranch" in the State!

As a resident of Kingsley, and a proud Stag mom , I was really looking forward to this new restaurant finally opening up in town! Somewhere to grab a quick burger, or maybe a sit down with a friend over a hot cup of coffee! Well, unfortunately my experience with J Wall has been short lived to say the least! I will say that the Manager who runs this restaurant has always been respectful, kind and accommodating, and that has been much appreciated for sure! The problem here is that the owners ( Chris and Rebecca Roehler also the owners of The marketplace Restaurant In Kingsley, and Rolling Farms Cafe of Traverse City ) refuse to pay my son! He has been waiting for his check of $600 since July 2021. However, these owners keep putting me off, telling me that they will pay him and now they don't answer my calls at all! This was my son's first job and it's unfortunate that this is the imprint that they have left with him! This is not acceptable, and I will no longer be giving them my business! You shouldn’t either !

My first review was erased, so I'll try again. Cute little place, friendly wait staff. Good burger, good breakfast. Blah sandwich. They desperately need GREEN PEPPERS on their menu! Once they get those, we'll be back.

Food was good. Also has decent prices. Should have the burgers and fish dinners include a french fry we paid extra for them which is fine but there should be a meal with them. Other then that it's nice to see kids working. I will go back.

This eatery is a true treasure in a jewel box restaurant. I don’t have any pictures of the different plates of food that we've ordered, because it’s gone before I think of taking a picture.we’ve been working our way through the various sandwiches, and they all have been above par. The soups that we’ve tried so far have been the chili, the potato and ham, and the beef and barley. It is my dream one day to come home with a gallon of each of those soups as they are absolutely delicious. they are made in house and taste like grandma worked over a hot stove for hours.I love what they’ve done with their teas; I don’t normally go for flavored teas, but what they have done is to take regular ice tea and infused it with real raspberries that are added into the glass for a new take on a beverage that could otherwise be mundane. From where I sit, there seems to be enough parking for the intended seating capacity of the restaurant, and from memory I do believe it is handicapped accessible. Even with the severely reduced staff, the restaurant has, by and large, been spotless when I walked in. The bathrooms are well tended and modernized, and the decor is mid century charming. There is a very pleasant and upbeat energy to this restaurant, and it’s one of our go to places for a bite to eat when we are passing through Kingsley. We have watched with interest as the restaurant has been able to increase their hours and add wait staff, slowly recovering from the effects that Covid restrictions had on this emerging business; we hope to be customers of theirs for many years to come, and I look forward to having more of that absolutely wonderful soup.
