Don't know what's happened to this location but holy hell, it's pretty sad when you've got 5 people waiting outside the door nearly an hour after the displayed open time because the doors are still locked, employees visible from the windows just standing around talking not acknowledging the people waiting outside, didn't answer the phone when called to find out what was going on. Everyone left hungry and furious after waiting over 20 minutes for employees to acknowledge them or something of any matter. 100% will never come to again, I'll drive the extra miles to town 😒

Used to be good when the local kids worked there. Now the camel jockeys took over just like Mayfield with they're filthy ways around food. Could visibly see hair in the lettuce container. Bread tasted old. Most of the condiments looked like they sat out for days. Sad to say but I'll never go back as long as they are running the joint.

(Changed my review) Recently there was a horrid video posted on Facebook of the local Kingsley subway. There were mice on sticky traps on the chip racks in front of customers. The video was sickening and it hurts to say goodbye to my childhood sandwich shop but they will no longer have my service or many of the other locals service. It's so heartbreaking to see the only restaurant in Kingsley (that isn't pizza) go down hill. These new owners and management has run our beloved subway into the ground!

They close early, and they aren’t as neat and organized as they used to be. I remember when Subway was clean, trays full and they closed at exactly 9 pm, not 7 pm. It’s annoying driving to the subway just for it to be closed at 7 pm. I’m unsure what these new owners are doing, but they must step up. Their standards are dropping and this Subway is one of the few go-to places to eat in Kingsley. Please don’t let Kingsley Subway turn into a (Ghetto) one.

So The Kingsley location is listed by the state as accepting SNAP benefits now. The person working said it's hit and miss whether it will work but had no reason for why that is. She was a very new employee. Decided to order figuring she just wasn't knowledgeable on the matter. WRONG! Wouldn't accept my card! I should have rejected the sandwich. So I pay for it out of pocket. Get home, unwrap it and the bread was hard as a rock. Serious!No joke man! Like it was several days old. When the person pulled the bread from the cabinet I noticed the cabinet was stuffed full which I thought was odd being it was around 5 pm. Now I wonder how often they bake bread there! Totally disgusted with the experience. Been a customer since the place opened many moons ago. Not any more! Place has gone to $h17 with this new owner. So long subway! Hello Papa Johns!

So I went to get a sandwich last night and it was so bad I should have walked out but needed something for work, the young man was drinking water said you know why I’m thirsty, I was cleaning the back room and there was alot of moldy and hard bread. and the condiments were just disgusting crap was mixed in with everything I hardly put anything on mine it was just bad, and I sure wouldn’t be tell a customer about the gross bread in the back room. I won’t be going back.

Currently sitting in the parking lot, it's 8:38pm, sign on the door says they close at 9:00pm... And it's locked. There's an employee behind the counter putting the food away, over halfway done. Not impressed they closed soo much earlier than posted.

It’s annoying driving to the subway just for it to be closed at 7 pm. I’m unsure what these new owners are doing, but they must step up. Their standards are dropping and this Subway is one of the few go-to places to eat in Kingsley. Please don’t let Kingsley Subway turn into the ones in Traverse (Ghetto).

The girl working with the eye tattoo and purple hair was extremely rude and was asking customers to leave because she was the only one working. She continued taking her frustration out on the customers in the most unprofessional way. I would be concerned if I were the business owner with how many customers she ran off while I was there. I'm local and will never attempt to eat here again.
