Had an incredible time here with friends and excellent food. 5 star experience!
I'm from out of town, I always take the opportunity to enjoy the Moon Bakery whenever visiting my family. I would love to have a Moon Bakery in Virginia. The food is always fresh, good quality which is so important to me and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have tried many items on the menu - all have been wonderful! I highly recommend this establishment. 5 STARS!

Small and quaint, not much seating. We sat with another couple(strangers) at the same table, turned out nice. The menu is on the wall behind the counter, if you have seeing problems, you might have problems seeing it. The food was Ok, we came here because they have a good variety of gluten free items.

Doesn't take long to get packed with people with only like 3 tables.
Counter girls are friendly enough.
Got a couple scones. One was mostly bread and not that great for the money.
The blackberry one was fantastic, reminded me of fresh made pie filling.
Really wish they'd add window ordering with the daily pastries listed and I'd stop by more often.

I stopped for lunch today and ordered a chickpea fritter. It was very fresh and delicious. It was actually perfect. I also had a cappuccino that was excellent. His service was also excellent as was the atmosphere. Highly recommended, if I lived closer I would certainly go back and try other items on the menu. This bakery was recommended as the best lunch spot in Lake City.. I would certainly agree!

Cute spot in Lake City. We were driving through on Labor Day weekend. They were open and we dined in! I ordered the egg and cheese croissant with a cherry turnover and a latte. Delicious! Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathroom, organized trendy space.

TLDR: One of the best small town bakery/breakfast/coffee shops in the country. IMO
It’s small, quaint, and service is fast and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I got the farmhouse and my husband got the chorizo burrito.
10/10 recommend.

More of a coffee shop than a bakery in my opinion. The baked goods are top notch. It is rare to find a true Danish pastry but they had it fresh and amazing. I little on the spendy side but after tasting the fare I didn't mind.

We stopped here for a righteous chocolate croissant to feature in one of our wedding photos, my wife Jess biting off one corner, me the other. One great bakery with professionally trained owners in fine dining and baking. A MUST stop while cruising through town

I would have taken photos but it’s so yummy I ate everything too enthusiastically to remember a pic. But here to say like so many others OMFG finally a proper good bakery with peeps that know how to bake! Cinnamon rolls are the real deal. Cookies are masterful. Great line of sandwiches and you will leave with real sourdough bread. I wish I lived closer but here to say keep up the good work I’ll be back whenever I am close!
