Absolutely delicious food and sweet treats after eating lunch there. This is a small, homey cafe with great made from scratch soups and sandwiches and even healthy vegetarian bowls. The coffee is as good as Starbucks if not better. What a jewel we found in Lake City as we were heading upstate.Vegetarian options: If you like grains, they have offerings. The soups are delicious!Dietary restrictions: If you want low-fat, they’ll accommodate because the chef is cooking from scratch. The soups are hearty and healthy.

Your bakery is lovely and so glad you're open on Sunday when we often drive through town, but let's get to the real 5 star rating..your sourdough bread is absolutely off the charts perfect!!!???? Crispy top crust dense chewy bottom crust and and billowy butter slathering bread in between the two.Thank you for sharing your incredible talent. You'll be a regular stop for us now!

It's 1969. I'm back in Saigon. I've been out of the bush for too long, I'm getting soft. I'm sitting in a cafe eating a sandwich...Wait. It's 2023. I'm in Lake City. Why am I having flashbacks to the Vietnam War, I'm only 41... because I just ate the Banh Mi Roll at 2 The Moon Bakery, and it was crafted to such an authentic degree that I was transported to the other side of this planet.The quality of ingredients, the purposeful marriage of flavors, and the care with which the food is prepared at this unassuming gem in downtown Lake City are world-class. I've only scratched the surface of the sandwich menu, but I ain't leaving Northern Michigan until I've tried them all.Don't like sandwiches? Well, seek therapy, but also take your pick from the exquisite array of baked goods that rival any Parisienne patisserie.Don't enjoy delectable sweets? I weep for you, but at least buy a loaf of bread. Be warned, you might think it won't happen, but there's a high likelihood that you'll down the whole loaf with a stick of Irish butter in one sitting.I don't know where these yahoos materialized from, but whoever they are, they are masters of their craft, and 2 The Moon Bakery is a gift to this community.It's been two hours since I had lunch there, and I am heavily considering going back for a second time today.Photos are of the Banh Mi and the Ham & Pickle. We stopped in Lake City to get gas and it was time for lunch. We chose 2 The Moon because it seemed the best option to us. We ordered the Moon Melt, a patty melt made with lamb, instead of beef, with peppers and caramelized onions. They were delicious, as was the caramel pecan brownie, decadent.

Oh boy. These sandwiches are delicious! I got a tip about this place and so we had lunch here. Omg! So good. I wish I lived close. What a treat. They are gourmet sandwich's. This is not Panara folks. Then Top off with cookie. I will be returning.
