What I’d like to say is when are these businesses gonna realize that they are there for the customer the customer isn’t there for them this is starting to be a trend in the year 2025 now this place hammers pub and grub they bought it from the people that owned it as the food factory which they just wanted out of the business since their kids weren’t interested obviously it’s a tough business to be in and now they’ve even got more competition but it could’ve been the number one spot in Lake City but oh no they have to hire bulldog waitresses and waiters and bartenders people that don’t know anything about Customer Service and would prefer to say I don’t like you instead of treating you with respect and unfortunately they’ve got one person that will run the whole thing and runs around like a chicken with her head cut off and treats people rude as hell and the customers that stay give her crap all the time that she’s there because she’s rude as hell she’s not happy she don’t even like herself and people who have gone here know who I’m talking about the short brunette with the big mouth and not the owners wife At least she knows how to treat a person right they used to have really great bartenders waitresses they probably run them all off stay away unless you want to be treated like crap. Every once in a while I’ll go there because I like the atmosphere and I like the sports on the TV and I say to myself before I walk in I guess I’ll let myself get treated like crap today Just hoping that something would change like new employees or a new attitude which I don’t see that happening well there you go welcome to the hammers pub and grub

Above any beyond! They have blankets readily available for you to use so that way you can still enjoy a nice evening, eating outside on the water and not being cold, also to the service was very friendly, and the food was real food

Best food and service ever. The team here is fantastic. From the owners to the servers/bartenders and the kitchen, they are all fantastic. The food is better than anything you can get in Grand Rapids and for much better pricing. Definitely the best restaurant around. Make sure to check it out.

The bison burger is absolutely amazing. My stepdad had the perch basket and he said it was the best perch he had ever had. We will definitely make a trip back.

Visiting the area from Texas and saw the recommendation to eat here in the guest book in our cabin! So glad we did! We went during the dinner rush hour but got a seat right away on the patio. They were out of the Frickles the night we stopped in, so that was a bummer. We did order the Jalepeno Nail Guns, bison chili and bacon wrapped meatloaf. Everything was delicious!!! Our server was friendly, but food service was a little slow due to the dinner rush, but we didnt mind. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the sun set over the lake!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and was told immediately that it could be up to 50 minutes for food as they were quite busy. I appreciated the heads up and we decided to wait it out and sat at the bar waiting for a table to open up. While waiting, we were able to get a drink and look over the menu. We found what we wanted and our order was taken while still sitting at the bar. About 10 minutes later a table opened up and we moved to it and waited for out food to come out. When the French Dip and Club sandwich came out, it was hot, fresh and absolutely tasty. Living in Texas, finding amazing food isn't hard to come by and I can say without a doubt, these Texans approve and will be back next time we're in the area.
