We came across this gem while we were out looking at the changing tree colors. Food and service was terrific. The only ding I will give is we sat in front of the ice maker and that was condusive with a nice meal. The deep fried raspberry cheesecake was delicious. Great portions of everything.

Loved the atmosphere but my entree was not good. Wife had French dip I had Shrimp. French dip was way over seasoned with Montreal steak seasoning type flavor. So much so that you couldn’t taste the auJus. Cocktail was excellent. Shrimp had amazing flavored breading but unfortunately was overcooked and rubbery. Best tasting breading I’ve had yet tho. And my Beer was good🤷♂️ Great location and waitstaff. Rating is based on overall food quality at our 2 person table. I think your entree should be at least edible, mind you I still ate them shrimp because of the breading but that steak? Oh heeeeck no!

Horrible first experience and definitely the last. Took over an hour to get our food. None of which required much cooking time. (Chicken wrap, kids pizza, kids burgers, and nachos)
Kids pizza was a rock hard microwavable pizza. The kids burgers were also clearly microwaved pattys. The pulled pork nachos were cold and the amount of onions outweighed the pulled pork 3:1 the nacho cheese and bbq sauce were cold.
$70+ for cold and microwaved food. Better off going anywhere else.
Cute little place in Lake City. We sat out on the deck, the weather was perfect. I had “sledge hammer” burger and hubby had a seafood special. Delicious food, cold drinks, great view.

I’ve been a customer of Hammers since 2020, and I enjoy the atmosphere, staff service and quality of food. I think all the staff are amazing and work very hard, with a particular shout out to Rhonda. When it’s busy - she hustles for the entire restaurant. When it’s a little slow, she gets to know the customers. My favorite dishes are the hangar steak w veggies and Lynn’s chicken avocado sandwich (try it as a wrap!).
