The Family Diner has been a place i have visited many times over the last 30 years. I'm not sure if the owner ship has changed at all over this time but weather it has been stopping in as a child or as an adult, the Family Diner has always been a great place to stop and grab some food. On my most recent visit we were greeted with friendly "hello's" and the usual welcoming atmosphere. The menu choices were numerous enough to offer a wonderful variety but few enough to easily decide. The Diner was clean, the staff (and locals) were all as friendly as ever, and the food was fast and hot. My most recent stop to the Family Diner just made me really realize how long i have been so pleased with my experiences there and that a review was definitely long over due. Keep up the Great Work!! And Thank You Lake City Family Diner!!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly little diner
Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessibility. Parking lot is flat and there are no stairs.

Steak was shoe leather. Took 5 minutes to get a steak knife so couldn't eat it until it was cold. Blueberry crepe was way too sweet. Hair in my dads soup. Our server rolled her eyes at us when we we asked for a steak knife 2 times. Would not recommend maybe lunch will be better with different staff. Dont go there if you want good quality food and service. ?

The food was amazing and was done pretty quick despite being slammed. Tasted amazing. Very good amount of food. The service was amazing and kind even while being slammed. 10/10 would recommend and come back.

Service terrible never had a server deny us taking our breakfast order she litteretly said we cannot take your order yet until I have taken the other people's order first ..... mond blowing and atmosphere trash never again don't recomend

The chicken strips I had were super dry. They were taking their salad bar down at12:30. Ok place.
Stayed in a lakeside rental near this and were super happy we came in. Twice. Loved this place and even bought a coffee mug. Highly recommend

Little home town dinner. Breakfast served all day! Reasonable prices. Tried the taco waffle fries-I liked better than regular nachos. Waitor was friendly but I think still learning-he didn't do bad. Didn't tells us about any specials, or about soup & salad bar, or that they had a bunch of pies. I would've ordered differently. Looked pretty clean until I went to bathroom. Ceiling exhaust fan was making racket, it was caked in dust. Even with that, I would eat there again.
