A clean, well lighted place. This establishment deserves a Hemingway reference. 6 tables occupied 5 with children the speakers playing modern music, because when you exemplify what is right with America you don't need carols. Excellent food great staff and the actual feeling of Christmass that I have not felt in a very long time. Good people doing well by good people.

I stopped into this restaurant on my trip back from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It had good reviews on TripAdvisor so I gave you a try. I sat at the small bar area and service was quick. It was Friday, and they had a special on fish which they dip themselves. The cod that came out was tender and very tasty. The three pieces of fish were large and I struggled to eat it all! This was a great find and definitely unexpected. If you're going through Lake City it's worth a try

3 hours to be seated, get food, get a check?? For real. The service sucked and the food was sub par. The chicken “wings” were round nuggets and weren’t very good.The app of frickles were good.Most of all the fact we spent 3 hours start to finish sucked. Nobody should have to wait 20 minutes to be seated and another 20 for drink orders.

Got to the restaurant waitress with long red hair. Came over to our table after she sat down two other people took their order now we were there at least 10 to 15 minutes before the other couple came in asked them what they wanted to drink went and got their drinks. Went on the so called patio and served others after WAITING FOR OUR DRINKS 30 MINUTES LATER. We left told other people that were coming in you'll be waiting at least 20 if not more minutes before your served.Poor service I am contacting board of health on the dress code on the waitress on messing with her hair while serving food to customers.

This is a great place to stop in Lake City. While you're sitting on the patio you do get a view of Lake Missaukee. They have a lot of tables and plenty of room at the outside bar.Russell and the other bartenders are super friendly.It's a great place to stop for drinks and food.

Random choice for lunch, we don't live here. Service was great, food was excellent! My cobb salad was freshly made and presented beautifully. My husband had a great burger, and my son had shrimp street tacos which he said were really good. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely go here again!

We pass through Lake City a few times a year and tried a new place. Wow, food and ambiance was great. Taylor, our waitress, greeted us with a beautiful smile, she was so friendly, and on top of everything. What a great lunch. Highly recommend. We ate outside and it was a complete.pleasure!

First let's say the owners are great!! Mrs B and I love going to the Patio when we can. The live music is always a great time. Dancing is almost a must!! Sometimes even Mary is out there!! We enjoy Jeff and Marys company everytime we stop in! The most fun place in town for sure!! Delicious food great people!!

We were seated inside on a Friday evening because it was busy out on the patio. After ordering we waited an hour and forty minutes for 4 hamburgers that we didn’t get and decided not to wait any longer. We told the manager that we’re not waiting any longer and paid for our appetizer and pop. The manger did apologize told us they have new cooks.While waiting for our food, I observed everyone that came in after uswaited a long time for someone to go to their table to give menus or take their order. I watched the food go out to the patio but no one inside received their meal the entire time sitting there. I also watched the waitress remove food from nachos with her bare hands and then take the food and serve it. I also noticed the cooks put food up on the counter to be served but it sat there, one burger was there 8 minutes before anyone came to serve it. I think its more that having new cooks as the problem, it seems the entire restaurant has poor service.Needless to say, we’ll never return. Poor service all the way around.
Great atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive , super nice , and awesome. I highly recommend the Cod Bites. Lightly battered and very tasty. The Bang Bang Tacos awesome as well. Very clean restaurant with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend The Patio on Main.

Been here a couple times and the burgers are very good. The issue I have is when there are only 2 tables taken and you want to sit on the patio but the "Hostess" ( no sign saying wait to be seated). Tells you you cannot sit at certain tables ( place is a freaking ghost town when we arrived). We did not want to sit directly in the hot sun but I guess the CUSTOMERS request cannot be fulfilled. Then immediately after we are sat IN THE SUN another couple walks in and tells her they want the table she just kicked us out of. RIDICULOUS - also do not order the fried pickles unless you bring paper towels to drain the oil and also your own serving plate to eat them - if you can. Also this is not a flat landers perspecive- we live here.

Happy accident that we ended up here with so me friends. Beautiful night so we asked for patio seating. Started with onion rings for appetizer, very tasty without too much breading. I had the pork chop with apple bacon and carmelized onions. Generous portion, cooked perfectly, moist and tender. yummy! husband had the salmon and he said it was delicious. Friends had hawaiian chicken and really enjoyed it. Sever was a young girl and very pleasant and professional. Can't wait to go back!!
