Incredible restaurant and bar on a beautiful drive. My favorite fish in the Keweenaw, hands down, fresh from Peterson's. I used to work here (and would still fill in whenever needed) and we would serve fish that was swimming in Lake Superior just that morning.
Beyond that, there are so many great items on the menu, including a great selection of ice cream for the kids, and one of the largest beer selections, plus great drinks, for the grown ups. Legendary place with a great history, proudly on display

Bartender was great. Welcoming and friendly. The old fashion I ordered tasted like a soda with olives. Minimal alcohol and no bitters. One dinner included ribs, baked potato and soup. Soup and croutons were delicious! Ribs were flavorful but cold. Second dinner was a tenderloin steak sandwich. I have worked in dinner clubs for over 40 years, this steak was not a tenderloin. More like a flank steak. Again, great service. If I ever go back, it will be a beer or wine and deep fried food.
