Bartender was great. Welcoming and friendly. The old fashion I ordered tasted like a soda with olives. Minimal alcohol and no bitters. One dinner included ribs, baked potato and soup. Soup and croutons were delicious! Ribs were flavorful but cold. Second dinner was a tenderloin steak sandwich. I have worked in dinner clubs for over 40 years, this steak was not a tenderloin. More like a flank steak. Again, great service. If I ever go back, it will be a beer or wine and deep fried food.

I had a great experience at Dreamland! We had a large group, and Shelby did a fantastic job. She was super attentive, friendly, and everything arrived quickly, in the correct order, and to the right person. I had a BLT wrap, which had a ton of bacon (yum), cooked properly, and tiny bit of lettuce and tomato (lol), and a delicious slice of carrot cake. Prices were very reasonable, and atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
Vegetarian options: Options are pizza, salad, grilled cheese or Kraft mac and cheese. Some fried appetizers. Oh, there is ice cream!

Old and run down establishment. $24 steak dinner was a small overcooked steak, very salty, and the vegetables on the side looked like from a freezer bag then microwaved (waitress confirmed they were microwaved…). Half cold/half hot. Looked very unappetizing. Maybe great ratings because no restaurants up here are that great. From the Grand Rapids area, where we have so many great places to eat. Disappointing experience.
The wife and I were researching a good place to get a streak here in the Keweenaw and we came across Dreamland. We went there and really liked the atmosphere. We were immediately created and told we could sit anywhere. The waitress was right there with water and asking if we had a drink order. She was only gone a few minutes and returned with our drinks. She took our dinner order and returned in 15-20 minutes with our food. The rest of the meal was spot on but the steaks left something to be desired. We ordered rare and medium rare but got more like medium and well done. Steaks were tough and too much seasoning. For a $25.00 dinner this was pretty disappointing. If Dreamland is going to offer steaks, they need a better cut of meat and teach the cook the different temperatures. Dreamland may be a good place for burgers and pizza but I cannot recommend the steaks.

Went for fish fry. Had fried fish bites. I chose to have half of the bites be trout and half whitefish. Delicious! Atmosphere and service were great. I only wish they would make their own tarter sauce instead of giving you small plastic containers similar to Mc Nugget BBQ sauce. That's my only complaint. Everything else was great.
