Bitter Tom's Distillery

Went for drinks with some girlfriends and decided to try the Butternut squash ginger soup. When I say this is the best soup I've ever had I'm not lying! It was so delicious and I can’t stop thinking about it! I hope they plan on keeping it on the menu, so I can go back and have it again on a crisp Fall day. 😀

My friends and I love coming here. The atmosphere is always a pleasant place to eat and the staff is very kind and courteous.

We were a part of 12. I ordered baked fish. It was over cooked. Ordered another and it had hot pepper all over it. Seating was very uncomfortable. Our bill was 550.00 not worth it.

This place has a really nice modern ambience that’s nestled by the water. That’s about the only thing I can say was good about it. 2 hours for food and beverages. They forgot to bring out the cocktails. Ordered food and 30 mins after ordering they advised they were out of chicken. I ordered a bacon and blue burger but whatever sloppy mess! The blue cheese was more like watery cottage cheese than blue cheese crumbles. The server was very apologetic for the long wait times. It was not his fault and he did a fabulous job navigating his tables. This was a lackluster experience for such a good looking place.

Fun atmosphere. Great food and drinks. The owners are really cool.

We had a party of 8 at 1pm on a Tuesday. It was a perfect setting for our group. The restaurant was quiet and we were able to sit where we wanted. Although the service was a bit slower because of being short staffed she was still very attentive to us and the others who were dining. All 8 of us loved our meals. I was surprised at the price of my watermelon salad with shrimp. Nowadays for me to get a salad with a protein can cost $20-25. I think my salad was $17 and it was big!!! I will definitely be back.

I had no idea this place existed! The food is amazing, the chef makes some pretty unique items from other restaurants. The food comes out hot and fast. The view from outside dining is beautiful.

Our server was excellent, super friendly ams efficient! I dont remember her name, but she had red hair. You can get average spinach dip anywhere, but if you want the best, made in house, order Bitter Tom's spinach dip for an appetizer; it was excellent. Great burgers and the grilled cheese and tomato soup was wonderful!

Bad experience, nice and clean inside but our bartender was really rude for whatever reason, I understand people have bad days but she never even asked if we wanted anything. Also why Evan Williams? Wild choice. Makes sense why there was nobody in

The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and modestly priced. We had Feta spinach dip and Crispy Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were both amazing. For our entries we ate the Bourbon Salmon and the Pretzel-encrusted white fish, both dishes were delicious. We sat on the patio, despite the hot temperatures it was not overwhelmingly hot. The only negative was that the flies wouldn't leave us alone. I guess the flies also know how good the food is.

A very unique place in downtown Lake Orion. The Maple Bourbon Salmon was excellent! Would definitely recommend this place — everything on the menu looked incredible!

The food is always excellent. Our server Allison was awesome. We ordered seasonal drinks the Athena was like a strawberry lemonade cosmo it was pretty and tasty. We cannot go there and not order the spinach feta dip it is a must try for everyone and it will keep you coming back.

We went to this restaurant in downtown Lake Orion for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by how awesome their menu was. There is a nice outdoor heated patio, but the inside and bar are great too!!
