Amazing place, I’ve only been a few times but, tonight I took my son on a bike ride to another place and he dropped his milkshake he had just ordered. The most GENEROUS woman came out of Lava Mountain, after hours and offered to make my son a smoothie because she saw my son drop his milkshake and get upset and down about it.

I am SO impressed, I’ll ALWAYS support places like this and encourage others to support them too. It’s a pleasure to help out small businesses who are so kind and I hope to support Lava Mountain much more!!! Thank you for this generous act of kindness ❤️

Poor batista capability. My drink was heated far too hot, and they did not use thermometers from what I saw. Low flavor profile within the drinks. It also took a while to get the drinks.

I arrived at Lava Mountain at 6:59. It was the closest coffee shop that opened at 7, and had planned to stop in for a latte and sandwich on my way to a trip. I sat outside the building for 20 minutes, and nobody ever opened the shop.

Super cute place with the BEST sandwiches around. I crave them. Check out their little grocery store right next door- very unique goods. A great small business. Im pretty sure the owners kids were there when I visited and i was happy to spend my money there.

Apart from the fantastic cup of pour over, this place is very welcoming with a relaxed design and a staff focused on quality and kindness. I could tell pretty quickly this was a family operation, and they certainly put that passion into their business and product. I'll certainly be returning for another great cup of coffee.

I roast coffee in the northern part of the state and saw this place when I was in town. I bought a bag of the Columbian coffee medium roast(it seems the Columbian coffee is their specialty).

Brewing it with a French press it turned out great! Nice aroma to it and a balanced flavor profile, I'm going to use it in a moka pot for iced lattes as well, expecting it to turn out really well

Breakfast sandwich is pretty good just hard to eat and falls apart. But had lots of things on it that tasted very good. The Strawberry Banana Smoothie was pretty good too tasted very fresh. Got an iced latte with toasted marshmallow and couldn’t taste the marshmallow at all and got another breakfast sandwich for a total of 44$ was very surprised with the cost for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks only reason i’m writing a 3 star.

Great vanilla iced latte! The pistachio syrup is also delicious. The girls behind the front counter are so sweet, helpful, and fast! The sandwich I got was also delicious. Will definitely be back!

i had their iced vanilla latte w oatmilk, but was very sad once i noticed the milk curdled at the top.. meaning the milk was bad. however, i will give them credit and say that the cafe itself is very pretty, looks clean, and staff is nice.
