More of a 3.5 the food has good flavor. But,
Service? Once your food is delivered not much follow up. Maybe just a bad day?
Overall I'll say Enjoy...

Nice flavors, crispy and earthy. You can get it mild, you can get it hot. Tasty drinks. Decent pricing on the menu but they have the 4% card fee that some places are doing these days.

I rarely take the to write a review anymore. But to see so many 5 star reviews of this place rubs me the wrong way. I can only surmise that the vast majority of them are fake.

The food is bland, straight out of a can. Ordered Mexican street corn in a bowl, got a bowl of mayo with some corn floating in it. Two plates, two bowls of corn, two Cokes = $50 before tip. My dog would not eat the food if I put it in front of him.

If the bill came out to $10 total, I wouldn't go back. We left more than 3/4 of the food on the plate. Don't waste your money here.

I was so hyped for Snap Taco, but wow… talk about buyer’s remorse. Drinks? Didn’t see those until about 10 minutes in, and even then they came out wrong. Off to a hot start.

The “famous” fish tacos everyone raves about? Yeah, if you’re into two sad, soggy goldfish-sized chunks buried under a mountain of veggies and sauce. My pastor taco didn’t even make it past two bites — the meat tasted like it came straight from a can of Alpo, and the pineapple? Definitely canned.
At this point, I was wondering if the beans could redeem things, but nope — they came out looking like salty bean soup.
Add in the fact that the place was loud and trashy, and we somehow spent $100 on this circus… honestly, I’d have been happier at Rio on Main with a margarita in hand. Or even Taco Bell.

I come here most often on Sunday nights and enjoy their incredible chips and salsa. I only eat their chicken tenders (I know, not Mexican!). They are always fresh and very quick with their service.

Family run joint for some delicious Mexican fare. We tried their tacos, fajitas and burritos, liked them all. You get very good attention from the staff, as opposed to a larger restaurant where you wait a long time just to get attention from a server.

Snap Taco in Lake Orion is one of those places you try once and immediately want to come back to. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with real attention to detail. The tacos are some of the best around — not overloaded, just simple and done right with great balance in every bite. The burritos are huge (and seriously filling), and the guac and chips are always fresh and well-seasoned.

What really stands out is the overall vibe — casual and laid-back, but with great service. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and helpful without being pushy.

Drinks are another highlight — the margaritas are strong, not overly sweet, and made fresh. It's clear Snap Taco isn’t trying to be a gimmick — they’re just doing solid Mexican street food with quality ingredients and good energy.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite, grabbing takeout, or hanging out for a meal with friends, Snap Taco always delivers. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Lake Orion.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | An Authentic Mexican Gem!

From the moment we stepped into this incredible Mexican restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. The warm, inviting atmosphere felt like a true slice of Mexico — vibrant colors, beautiful handcrafted décor, and traditional music playing softly in the background. It struck the perfect balance between cozy and festive, making it ideal for both a casual night out or a special celebration.

Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we ordered tasted homemade, bursting with authentic flavors you just don’t find at most places. The chips were perfectly crispy, served with fresh, flavorful salsa and guacamole that was clearly made from scratch. I had the carne asada tacos, and they were out of this world — juicy, seasoned to perfection, and wrapped in soft, fresh tortillas. The rice and beans that came on the side were anything but an afterthought; they were rich, well-seasoned, and comforting.

My partner ordered the queso birra and couldn’t stop raving about how light yet flavorful it was, with just the right touch of heat.

The staff was just as impressive as the food. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food they were serving. You could feel the passion from the kitchen all the way to the front of house.

If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience — not just great food, but a place that feels like a cultural experience — this is it. I’m already planning my next visit. Do yourself a favor and check it out. 🌮🔥🇲🇽
