My husband, 90 year old father-in-law, and I took a chance and stopped by for lunch on our way home from Detroit to Ludington area. The place isn't much on the exterior, but a typical mom-and-pop diner on the inside - friendly quick service, easy breakfast/lunch menu, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Food quality isn't gourmet but for a quick bite to eat, Lake Restaurant served our purpose well! ?

Wonderful little place for great food and friendly service. Excellent AYCE fish fry Fridays and it includes a nice little salad bar with the best creamy cole slaw in the world!!
