I've been eating at Ichiban for years, it's the only place in the area I've ordered chinese food for as long as I can remember and I've always been very happy ... until my last visit. I ordered take out for Saturday night. A general tsos combo dinner and the 2 sushi roll special. When I got there, the dining area was full of people waiting on orders. I didnt mind the wait, but I've never had that happen before and it was the first thing different that night. It took 5-10 minutes of waiting, but I got my order and went home. Once home, I immediately got my sushi out and it was barely even cool anymore let alone cold. I live less than 15 minutes from the restaurant, no reason it shouldn't be cold anymore. It all tasted mediocre as well compared to normal. I usually really enjoy the sushi from here - even basic rolls. The general tsos wasnt good either, unfortunately. The sauce itself tasted different than it ever has, so maybe a new recipe? And I know chicken in these recipes isn't known to be the best cuts, but I bit down into big tendon (I think, anyway) in one of my pieces and it ruined it all even more for me. Even the chicken fried rice was basically inedible. No flavor, the chicken tasted like it came right out of a can also without seasoning and even most of the onions were still half raw and crunchy.

It wasn't the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but definitely the worst I've ever had from Ichiban, and I'll probably shop around at other Chinese restaurants before coming back to this one again now.

This is definitely a grab and go type meal. There's no service in the dining room and it's just a dining room. They serve pretty good sushi rolls and the Chinese food is always on point.

What you see on their menu is exactly how it's made. Since covid back in 2020 they were still open and only delivered. Today in 2026 your orders are ready on time. You can dine in if you want but there are no waitresses. You just get the food you ordered and sit at the table and eat or take out. They do not deliver but you can use a delivery service.

First time here and the crab rangoon was at the top of its game. Deeeelicious. Can't wait to try everything.

Being from out of town, my co-workers ordered this place for lunch. I am usually picky about where I get my Chinese food from so I was skeptical this place would not be any better than the places by my house. I was wrong. This location has some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Their portion sizes, quality, and prices are absolutely out of this world. I cannot wait until I can order food again from this location. I would give it more then 5 stars if possible. I will forever recommend this place!

The food was barely warm when we picked it up. The person who checked me out was cold and rude. We will not be returning. If you want good Chinese food check out Hot Sizzlin Wok on Laskey.

I visited this restaurant with high hopes, as the ambiance and service were both pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience took a serious turn after consuming the sushi!!!!.. I later discovered I had contracted parasites, which required medical attention and a difficult recovery.
While I understand that food safety issues can sometimes arise unintentionally, I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reviews their sourcing and preparation protocols. I’m sharing this not out of malice, but in the spirit of public health and accountability.
I truly wish them well and hope they make the necessary improvements to ensure others don’t face similar issues.
