Food was cold. Service was slow. They bussed our table and then we had to go ask for our bill after sitting there for 15 minutes at an empty table (this place is tiny).

While this restaurant has a great atmosphere, and happy and kind service the food was downright awful. I so wanted to like it but the biscuits had a foul taste, not sure if they were frozen and baked or?? The gravy also had a nasty taste. Possibly scorched flour taste? The hash Browns were a disgrace. No other type of potato option was available. As I do not like shoestring style hashbrownsbut willing to try them they were overcooked. I had asked for golden brown...no they were hard as a rock and very very brown. The coffee had a burnt flavor to it. The eggs was the only thing cooked correctly. My companion had a strawberry crepe, however the crepe was to thick and crispy, tasted a bit charred. She is blind and could not see her food but has good sense of taste, she was not happy with the crepe. Her eggs were a bit crunchy on the edges of her over easy eggs. Her white toast was hard. So overall we were not happy and very doubtful we will ever return.

Nice place to eat breakfast and lunch. Close at 3pm. Always fresh foods. Haven't had a bad meal there. Handicap accessible.

Very disappointed in our experience today. We have come to this place several times. Entered the restaurant and we were greeted upon entry. My 7 year old had never been here and was excited to check it out. We let her pick the table. A table came into the same area after us. A waitress rudely walked by tossing menus on our table and proceeded the greet the table that had just sat down. She said not a word to us. I was a little taken aback as we've always had a good experience here. There was then a discussion about who's table we were. We got a young lady that appeared to be training (she was friendly). We were discussing just leaving instead of ordering when all but 1 menu was removed from our table. I was just so shocked at the rudeness of our initial encounter that we decided to take our business elsewhere. We paid for the drinks that had been brought and left.

The Lunchroom is a gem in Bedford. This dinner has the best breakfast and lunch food in the area. I would rate there malted pancakes and waffles with the best I’ve had anywhere in the country. It’s also very economical and has a small town atmosphere. If you enjoy a great meal served by some great people make sure to give the lunchroom a try!

Like an old time Diner, tables together with old memorabilia. The food sounded so good, didn't know what to order! I had a special of peach pancakes that were really good!
I took a salad home for dinner. It was the best salad I've had in years!! I believe it had apples and walnuts and a poppyseed dressing. It was SO good!!

So cute how they made the hallway of the school look like a store front .. Service was excellent!!! You get a good amount of food for the price.Good place to relax with friends or family over a good meal
