Great people and even better service, Hands down the best hot beef sandwich in Northern Michigan! I have traveled across the state of Michigan and tried every place that makes the hot beef and there is no comparison hen it comes to this particular meal!!

Hello y’all. Idk anyone here. But when I am in the area I make it a point to stop.
Their fried whitefish dinner is awesome. You can get it wet or dry battered.
It is an old school dinner. They have different flavors of ice cream. And several homemade pies.
The soup and chili is homemade too. I really like their clam chowder.
The staff is super cool, the cooks are good too. They will make you fried fish for breakfast! Get the pie. Any pie.
Their loaded hash browns with cheese and eggs ham and onions is rock solid. I didn’t get pancakes yet so idk. Idk if they have real maple syrup either.
Their biscuits are light as air! The sausage gravy is on point. I get it every time.
My people swear by the Cajun skillet but I have not tried it yet.
Go get you some they are great people I hear they support the local school a lot.
They do pizza too. They serve Michigan beer and wine.

Never again! I'm giving two stars because the food tastes good, and the workers are friendly. As a life long customer I have very fond memories of Mr. Pibs. That is the only reason I've returned after multiple mistakes. This summer, items were missing from my order, to the point they had to bring us the missing food. Today, I ordered a wet burrito. No tomatoes, no olives, but adding onions. While paying for my order I could here them in the kitchen repeat the order as I had given it. When I returned home, my order was missing the onions, and the tortilla chips which come with the wet burrito. That's one of the best parts. I should have checked my order before I left, but I trusted that it would be right. Never again, I'll take my business elsewhere.
