Been here twice, absolutely love the foods, it's flavourful n the meat melts in your mouth. Easily one of the best places to eat, the service is spot on. You get your seat, they take your order, n get your food fast.

For me growing up in northern Michigan, the Redwood Steakhouse was a landmark! Known for its weekend steak and seafood specials and Sunday brunch, it was a tradition for people to take a drive from anywhere just to come and eat year-round. It still has the old school appeal. My friend and I stopped in for a cocktail. The prices were great, the waitress was nice and encouraged us to return. I am sorry that I did not get any pics!

Apparently, this place is making a comeback. It used to be a popular weekend place known for its steaks and fish with a household history of serving travelling tourists and winter snowmobilers. We just had a nice cocktail and might be back when summer comes.

In another area with more options this would get 4 stars but for up north, this place gets five stars! The menu has many selections and food is good. The specials list was extensive. I don’t recommend the meatloaf. The dessert is sharing size. This place has trouble seating groups of more than 4 as there is only 2 larger tables. Bar seating available.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: No stairs

I cannot believe the number of bad reviews. This used to be a top notch restaurant with excellent food and service. I know this because I worked there as a server quite a few years ago. I have not eaten there since the last re-opening because the owners would not honor my gift certificate.
Robin was a great waitress...food was good....we will be back.

We were in the area on vacation . Decided to stop in there for an early dinner on August 26th, 2023. Both my son and I ordered fish baskets. Both got coleslaw with our basket. The coleslaw was garbage. It had to have been spoiled rotten for a month. My son took a bite and said it's gross and asked me to try mine. I was gagging and had I not spit it out, I would've vomited. My husband ordered a beef tip with wine gravy and he said it was not worth the price. Food was below mediocre but our bill was well over $100. The server Barbie, however, was great. She was very on top of her job and did it very well. Had it not been for Barbie, this place wouldn't even received one starParking: We were there just after 4 pm so there were plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Though this is a lounge/ restaurant, they do have a kid's menu

The steaks are delicious! And their beer battered fried perch is the best I have had anywhere. The Redwood has become one of our favorite places to dine and The staff is all friendly and top notch!

Service was very slow but they were short staffed.The food was worth nowhere near what it cost. Ordered a burger well done and it was rare. Had to take it home and cook it in the microwave.I will not be returning.

The meat was very tough the rest was delicious ut it is a steak house the steaks and prime rib was terrible and my husband didn't eat it told the waitress and never took it off the bill , we loved this place but it's changed .
