Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning before heading home from a weekend getaway to Lexington. Quaint, excellent meal and service. Made a reservation, but didn't need it. Reasonable price and nice ambiance.
My husband and I sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. Everything was well prepared and served in a timely fashion. The bar staff were attentive, helpful on dinner choices and friendly. It's the best place in town.
My wife and i went to dinner last night at the Cadillac house restaurant. I ordered a rib eye steak. It came out burned actually charred on the outside. The steak was cut on an angle from about a 1/4 " thick to 1" thick The 1/4" part was unable to eat as it was so overcooked. The thicker part was better except it was totally dry with no juices in it, When eating parts of it all I tasted was the chared meat no flavor at all
Very nice. We had a great visit and we will definitely be back soon.
Disappointing after a much better experience at this venue a few weeks earlier. Inexperienced or poorly trained wait staff and kitchen staff. Under-cooked fresh vegetables and over-cooked steak. It's a shame that they can't seem to maintain higher standards.
The hotel itself is super cute! Great location. Staff was amazing. The beds were not comfortable at all. They need updated bedding. Overall it was over priced.
Had such a great time and very clean rooms and so much history to the building.
This enchanting historic hotel is made even more enchanting by the kindest front-desk clerk EVER! Drea made our stay unforgettable by her attentiveness and expertise. We will come back just to see her.
Right in the center of town, this hotel is not the place to go if you seek extreme quiet and solitude. This is the place to appreciate a beautifully constructed and lovingly restored piece of Michigan history. We enjoyed this unique hotel every moment of our three-night stay. ❤️
Sadly disappointed after waiting over an hour on a Tuesday night my eggplant Parmesan arrived luke warm (not appetizing) and it was accompanied by broccoli??? Even a piece of garlic bread would have been welcome and made much more sense. My daughter did enjoy her ribs & fries. Never saw the waitress after the order was taken and our drinks were never refreshed. The dining room ambiance is there but food presentation and wait staff is sorely lacking. Dinner only were not hotel guests.
Great rooms. Great staff. Great food

Nice historic hotel with a lot of character. The rooms are clean and the restaurant has a limited menu with good food. The location is right in town so you can walk to shops. There was really loud music on in the courtyard until 3am that the front desk clerk had trouble figuring out how to turn it down/off - husband had to get dressed and go down to desk to complain.
Stopped at the bar for libations and apps … chill atmosphere and the bartender is very good… my Detroit Cadillac Manhattan was very good … the burrata and sticky ribs had really good flavor
They advertised they were doing breakfast every day so me and a friend decided to have brunch on a Saturday.they had one person waiting tables and it was the bartender he did a wonderful job but there was literally no one else around he deserves a raise it took way longer to get served but that was to be expected. I got the special they had on their FB page and it was incredible so it was worth the wait. Pork belly and fried egg Sandwhich with rhubarb jam and hot sauce!!They just need to have more waitstaff or a busser.
We enjoyed our experience at the Cadillac House. We were a party of eight. We were warmly greeted and our reserved table was ready for us. Our waiter had no problem with “separate checks”, and delivered our orders exactly as requested. Food portions were ample, and quality was average to good., with appropriate prices. Where the Cadillac House shines is ambience. The old building has been exquisitely maintained and is richly detailed and appointed. We didn't sit in the bar area, but would definitely like to re-visit and enjoy that room. All around, a very good dining experience. We would return.
We had lunch on their patio. Small brick patio with no real views but it was outside on a nice day. We had good service and the food was very good. Prices were higher than most the restaurants in the area which was a negative. It is a Hilton owned property but we did not stay so can't comment on the rooms. Big company owned explains the higher prices.
