I used to come here all the time for lunch, but the prices went way too high, and I was directly asked to tip when picking up from the drive-thru. I don’t tip at the drive-thru and don’t eat here anymore to avoid the confrontation. The prices went up enough so that their staff doesn’t have to panhandle at the window, so if they aren’t paying the staff I don’t want to eat here.

This spot was highly recommended during my visit to metro Detroit. When I let Malayna know that I was traveling back home today, and wanted to travel with my corn beef she immediately went into “let me help her have an amazing experience.” She recommended that I purchase it by the pound to save money as well as stating you’ll want more if you simply by the sandwich. Of course I had to try the corn beef eggroll and to my surprise it was delicious. I will definitely stop back the next time I am in town.

I ordered a sandwich that I assumed came with fries for $17. I took a Lyft to pick up sandwich. When I returned home I looked at the menu they gave me and realized they offered the same sandwich slightly larger that came with fries for the same price. I called and spoke with the owner to ask if I could return the unopened sandwich and exchange it. I was rudely told no and I will never go back there again.

I ordered a Ruben ( lean meat), let me tell everyone, that was The Best Ruben I've ever had. The bread was toasted perfectly, the meat was sooo juicy and lean. The woman taking the orders was so pleasant, she was smiling the entire time. She is a gem for this establishment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So funny how people are saying the food is great but leave a one star rating because the food is expensive…. Have you been to a grocery store lately? My family of three can’t leave Meijer without paying over $300 every week… These sandwiches are well worth the money they cost. They are always made to order and delicious. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Brenda, especially, is the bomb! This is the best Bread Basket location there is (and the cleanest)!
