This is the 2nd Sammy's Pizza order, also 2nd location. While the pizza was good, and based on food alone, we'd always buy from them. I can not however get over the cleanliness issues at both places.The Newport location replied basically claiming this isn't the norm, however here I am at another location same issue.The people at the counter answering phones, taking money and cards, using the POS, to take orders, wearing gloves, then goes directly to making pizza crust. No changing gloves. These common things, money, cards, telephones, etc are germ magnets. Both locations did it! They're obviously not training their employees the importance of cleanliness. If it was a fluke, 2 visits, 2 locations you wouldn't have the same issues.

The place is nice and clean on the inside. The guy at the counter (which I think was the owner) was really friendly and genuine! I haven't had their pizza yet, but the steak and cheese I ordered and the antipasto salad my wife ordered were on point!

Found out about this place by driving by ads stopped in and placed an order and was delightfully impressed as this pizza was very good and so was the bread. I’ve order at least 3-4 times over the past year it’s really good and they also priced the pizza for the local schools on pizza day.
Literally the best pizza and chicken we’ve had in a while. And I especially love that they sent my order with a side of the black olives with the peppers for me. Definitely will be ordering again soon.
