Fry daddy’s are by far the best place to get fish, onion rings, and chicken wings. The wife and I drive 30+ to get there. It’s worth the drive. Fry daddy, keep doing what you’re doing. The only thing that I would like to see, would be to open up sooner then 2pm. If it was up to me, you would be open 24/7. Lol. Great job ? Keep it up.
Fish was overcooked. Staff was very unhelpful is telling me what kind of fish they were serving. Wait time estimate was way off and they hadn't even started my order when I had arrived to pick it up based on their estimate.
We are always on the lookout for a great fish place. Went on a date night in Lowell and decided to stop and try small dishes from a few places. We got the fish & chips basket with tartar sauce and 2 Cokes. In today's crazy economy it seemed a reasonable price. Everything was hot and fresh from the fryer. The tartar sauce is some of the best I've ever had. The cod was slightly tough, but had great flavor. Definitely recommend trying this place out!
I got lake perch with fries and coleslaw and hush puppies. Overall it was good.
Best fish around hands down!
When I was on the road selling all those years this fairly humble joint was always put on the weekly schedule. Very consistent, clean, simple - the smelt is very good, lake perch a bit better, the Alaskan Cod....the Alaskan Cod...yeah, I really liked those perfectly seasoned 1" squarish chunks of cod. I seldom go for tartar sauce with fish as fine as this but Fry Daddy sauce should be sampled because it is excellent. I seriously go for takeout seafood places. I like Fry Daddy's about the best. Of course, what can I know? Old Jim
Wonderful food!!! Great people that work there, they are like friends! Once you meet them a couple times then they pretty much know what you want, it’s great! It’s pretty much like homemade food, they cook it up right after you order it barely any wait time!! Prices are very good the selection of food is amazing!!!
I honestly don’t know how this place has all these great reviews. Everything and I mean everything is frozen from what I can tell. I watched the man cook and it all came from Gordon food service bags. The hush puppies were way over cooked and looked blackish. The cod was dry and clearly frozen at some point. I thought this place was a fresh fish type of place but honestly long John silvers is better than this. I hope who ever buys it from them tries to do fresh local fish. This was my first time here and my last.
A plus! great place to get fried fish.

Good quality fresh fried fish and fries...
I love their food but I am disappointed that they advertise being open till 8pm most nights but especially Wednesday nights as that is the night that my son and I have a worship team practice at church and we always try to get there before they close but again tonight before 7:30pm we pulled in to find the doors lock and no note or anything on the door and there was staff inside.
Had some DELICIOUS Swai here! Their fish is absolutely amazing! Tartar sauce was really good as well, and I am VERY picky with tartar sauce! Seems owned and ran by only two really nice people and it's just such a sweet little small restaurant! I 1000% recommend it
Great fish basket and good service ?
