Painted Turtle made a nice little stop as I drove through the area, and evidently many people agree. It’s a busy place, especially in the fall. I just tried their hard cider and a little ice cream, but what I had was good. Their ciders tend to be on the sweeter side, but they’re still quite good. Their hopped cider was very pleasant. The ice cream I got was apple pie-flavored and was fantastic. The staff seemed friendly, and the outdoor seating was comfortable enough....
You can't go wrong when a successful apple orchard decides to venture into the world of craft ciders! Several delicious flavors from sweet to hoppy, there's something here for your pallet. The foods are delicious and healthy - I had a turkey Reuben Sandwich. The staff is friendly and had our food out quickly. Stop in and enjoy the great atmosphere and shop a little too for your fav breakfast eats from jams to syrups to sugar dusted apple, blueberry, or vanilla donuts!
