If you want to eat out at Applebees save some money and go to the frozen aisle at the grocery store, it will taste the same.
If you want to eat out at Applebees because it’s near the movie theater, give your money to the Ludington Meat Company next door, or any other local establishment that will actually contribute its wealth to our town’s economy.
If you want to eat out at Applebees for a fun place to drink, save yourself some time and money and go downtown rather than this joke of a restaurant out on the highway at the edge of civilization. Or just go to the liquor store and combine the 3 ingredients they might have made you in the restaurant for half the cost.
Even subpar restaurants have their time and place, but Applebees does not. This is a corporate chain that benefits off of its targeted marketing towards family customers paired with usually being near a cinema, without actually considering the taste of anything you are going to eat. Not to mention a good amount of the vibe and soul of the actual building has disappeared for commonplace forgettable modern minimalist design after it burned down years ago.
Eat local. Eat at home. Eat sand for all it matters. Do not send earned money up a corporate chain that has no reason to care what you or your community thinks of its food or service.
Chain restaurants with good food at better prices exist, this just is not even close to being one of them.

Feels like they're trying to be a bar and kind of a finer restaurant at the same time. The menu is fairly limited. A little pricey especially for what you get. Don't bother going there for any options for steaks. They have one and it's not very big for the price. The last time we were there my brother got it. It was cooked well. The last time I got a steak they ruined it. So 50/50 shot it's loud. The staff was not the friendliest but not terrible. Just mediocre at best. Just way better places to go

My wife, uncle and I went to Applebees for half off apps. We order our drinks and food with no problem. Our waitress was very professional and kind. We had wings, brew pub pretzel and three-cheese chicken penne. Overall food/drinks, service and experience was great.

I feel as if the order took a little longer than normal and would love to see Applebee's start updating their look. The aesthetic is not one that brings happy vibes to my mind.
Went 2x this week and both times service was average. I had for something and it was forgotten and had to ask two more times for it before it was brought out.
Both meals were not great, they were average. My burger and onions were burnt, then my mashed potatoes were cold and the broccoli was barely cooked. The grilled chicken was spot on!

We had Mikaila as our server. She was not attentive at all and had no personality. Another server had to come take care of us because she was just standing around. The food was okay, though our breadsticks were burnt and the artichoke dip tasted like corn.
