Amazing food and great service!!

The absolute best place to eat in Ludington! Sit outside on the deck by the lake, you can even drive up and dock your boat. Mahi, fresh oysters, or wings and pizza it's all exceptional! Jamaican specialties, friendly service, good drinks, good prices.

We fish on Hamlin Lake frequently, and we usually go to Barnhart’s a few times during our fishing trip. The four of us went yesterday and the day before. We had wings, nachos and sandwiches, along with a few cocktails. We have always received great service, and the view of the lake is beautiful. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back!

Good food and great people! Doesn’t take long to feel like a regular here! Would recommend the key lime pie drink, the burger, or the chicken sandwich with island sauce.

Yes they are very busy, but there is a reason for that!
Sometimes you do have to wait but well worth the wait!!
We always order an appetizer if we’re really hungry ( and a cold beer).
I enjoy the atmosphere, wait staff, Chef staff.
The owner Derek is very friendly and cares about everyone that comes in there.
I will have to say one thing they have the best pizza ever!!!

We have been going to Barnhart’s for the past 15 years and have always been happy with our service, food and the atmosphere. We look forward to going to our lakeside diner every summer!

Came in off our boat and it was extremely understaffed. 2 servers and 1 bartender on Labor Day weekend. We waited at the host stand for 20 minutes and the servers just kept walking by and wouldn't even acknowledge us. We eventually left. Very unprofessional.

We drove all the way up here from Grand Haven Google website says open and updated four weeks ago… They are not open! Super bummed

Very busy and so short staffed that we stood at
hostess stand for 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged
We bussed a table so we could sit down. Food, when we did get it, was tasty and filling. Wives had to explain to bartender how to make a manhattan

My family and I went on vacation and stayed nextdoor to barnharts. We went there for dinner the night we got into town. Their food and drinks were all great. We ordered everything from clams, pizza, buffalo chicken sandwiches, grouper sandwiches and lots more! We had a large group and the food came out very quickly. The staff was great and the view of the lake was so relaxing! We'll definitely be back.
