We checked their website and it stated they were open. We drove about an hour and a half and when we got there they were closed. They need to change their website hours of.operation. We have dined here last year and.it was fabulous. A little expensive.

Was recommended to visit here by our pastor and it did not disappoint! Huge variety of fish (fried, smoked and take home raw) for every one’s preference. Prices were a little higher than expected but the taste was worth it! Place was packed and the line was out the door and I can see why. Totally recommend trying Bortell’s

Been going here for years.Always fun to drive the lake shore and pick up some fresh fish. First thing in the morning, get there as early as you can.Because once they're sold out, they're sold out. And by god, is it worth getting there early.

This is an open fish market where you can order it and take it home and cook it yourself, or you can order a dinner right there and they will cook it for you, which was what I recommend. This is not a hole in the wall.! Best fish that you can ever get plus shrimp, whitefish walleye, perch, etc. etc. etc..
