Picked up a to go order for 2. Excited to go home eat to find there wasn't the side of sausage gravy, the jelly we asked for, wasn't in there, the potatoes in omelet were burnt, the was burnt. I called, they told me to come back to get gravy or $5. I went back with that burnt potato and toast order. Told the server, who came across like it was a big imposition. Gave me $7 for the whole meal that should of been more. I paid $20 plus and tipped for 2 omletes. Little disappointed.

We ordered breakfast for pickup 2 days in a row because our hotel didn’t offer it. It was recommended by someone in town. Reasonable prices and big menu and ala carte section. Captain’s Platter was recommended and was enough for 2 (as we anticipated). The Swedish pancakes were enjoyed, scrambled and poached eggs, yogurt and granola, egg sandwiches, carrot cake, blueberry muffin was right out of the oven and loaded with berries. Busy on a Sunday morning but our order was ready. Recommend!

Genuinely the worst service we have ever had. Had to take our water cups up to the host after 30 minutes to just get a refill. Over 45 minutes to get eggs with inedible bacon that fell apart, sausage and pancakes that were almost certainly precooked and just heated up. Rubbery. Grits were the ONLY thing that came out hot. Completely horrible experience. When we were done eating server at least paid attention to ask if we were done. She then took her time bringing other people coffee, restocking creamers at another, and bussing a table before getting around to bringing us our check. Will never be back nor recommend.

The staff was very nice and the place had a very homie and small town cafe feel. I don’t think we have enough places like this!!
Everything tasted great the bacon was cooked perfectly wasn’t too crunchy or too limp.

While vacationing in the area, we stumbled upon Brenda’s Café and were blown away. The staff is amazing and the food is even better! On our first visit, I had the veggie omelet and the texture was perfect. When we returned the next day, I tried the chocolate chip pancakes and they were incredible! We ended up coming back four times during our week-long stay just for their delicious breakfast.
We were lucky enough to have a waitress named Brenda three of those times. Since the restaurant is called Brenda’s Café, I assume she is the owner and if so, she is a delight! If you're in the area, you must eat here. We’ll absolutely return next time we’re nearby!
Total miss for me. Had breakfast there and I ordered the Southern Benny. Overcooked by a lot. Eggs did not run at all. Staff was friendly and kept my coffee full. My daughter had an orange juice and said she didn't like it. I tried it and it was kind of bitter. We won't be going back here.
Good food. Great senior prices
